Ha, never been referred to as troll before. I'm on my 3rd Lexus and just had some perspectives but wasn't expecting some of the hostile fire. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, I went on the build site and when editing up a level there are more wood or other accents that create some sophistication. As I said I'm impressed with the fsport. They went outside the box and stretched the envelope with the design making it an instant head turner. All I'm saying is that I was expecting the same on the inside. It's certainly more appealing than my '13. The depressed cup holder, touch lighting, are all unique. But I just can't agree about the nav screen or the old style graphics. (Having said all that pls don't let it out that I'm still planning to buy the f as it's the best 5 seat suv lux in this range by far.). Thanks to those who were open minded and I liked the counsel

Ignore the people calling you a troll lol.

Seriously though, go test drive some well optioned ones that aren't loaners before you decide.

Design perspective is unique to the beholder. Expecting to be flamed on a 4th gen RX forum is expected so dont mind it lol.

Default Opinions on the 2016 RX styling

I want to start off by saying that I am not hating on the 2016 because I have an older RX.

Now here is my issue with the 2016 RX, it is very odd looking in person especially without the 20in wheels.

I reminds me of some government stealth project for land vehicles due to the very angular styling.

I like the interior style which does look nicer than my 2011, however I actually like the softer exterior styling of my 2011 RX to the latest 2013-2016 style changes that look very odd for the Lexus makes i got used to seeing over the years.

Lexus models always had a very upscale sophisticated look to them, but lately Lexus car models are looking odd especially the RX.

I actually do like the ES new look since it has always been a bit too dull style wise over the years, but the new look does not fix the RX in my opinion.

Is it just me, or do the new RX look odd for a lack of better term-not bad nor good.

In its defense, the new RX does look like a lifted super-car crossover wannabe in a way from the side.

Maybe the look will grow on me when it becomes time to trade the old RX.

I disagree. The poster is merely voicing an opinion with reasoning. I certainly don't agree with his analysis but I welcome hearing a different opinion.

if the RX you were in was $55k you probably don't have leather seats, or the other things that can be available in the RX. if you were looking at the ES, then look at the GS, which you can get with a $55k price tag thats worth it. Personally, i loved the RX when i sat in it at the new york auto show, and it seemed very luxurious to me.
