Hud

Can't imagine not having it. It was in a "really really nice to have" league on 3RX, but on 4RX it's a must-have feature, insanely useful when used together with adaptive cruise control and LKA systems. Also very nice to have the "in your face" warnings when PCS tell you to "BRAKE!"

I also thought it was something I wouldn't use, until someone on these forums pointed out that on the non-F Sport models the HUD is the only way to get digital speed readout. That's something I really like to have in a car, and like others here I find the HUD extremely useful. If I were shopping for a new non-F Sport RX it would be on my must-have list.

Red in the tachometer if you have it turned on.
Yellow in the lane keeping assist. If you car veers off to the left or right of your driving lane, then the lane display on that side would turn yellow in addition to the vibration in the steering wheel to alert you.
Red/yellow may appear elsewhere, and there may be other colors that may appear to alert you if you do something unusual.
I notice that the speed limit symbol changes size at times so the HUD display may be a high-resolution screen that the layout/appearance can be changed by new programming, instead of some fixed template of symbols.
