Just bought one of these on Amazon and it was here in 2 days - I think for $16. Solves my issues with the RX's lack if storage and makes a great place to put keys and wallet. I just can't believe I didn't think of it sooner...I got my two cup holders back!

 

Picked up my new 2020 RX450h and didn't realize until I got home that they didn't even include a coin tray inside the center console!! Has anyone found anything that works as a coin tray for the console?

 

I found one on Amazon. Do a search and you will find one. Mine is a tray that sits at the top of the removable box, The tray has a flat area and then a coin tray at the back of it.

There's a little console box to the left of the steering wheel (underneath the gas cap button) that is meant for small items like coins.

 

I keep coins inside the door pocket, near the handle.

 

I only deal in plastic....and very occasionally notes.

 

I'm trying to find a center console tray for my 2020 RX 350 base. Ebay has a few but for '16-'18 model years. Do we think there has been any significant change to the center console in the last 2 years? I don't see any available for later than 2018 but I am pretty sure it will fit. Any thoughts?? Not a big investment if I'm wrong but just looking for your opinions! Thanks!

 

I have 2020 model and bough from Amazon's and fit even it said for 2016. I'm sure eBay same but if you want pace of mind get it from Amazon which free return if not fit.

I bought this tray but didn't use it for coins. I keep them at the insides door handle. However this tray is a must for me since the center compartment is deep and hard to reach when i am driving. I leave my sunglasses on this tray.

 

I bought this tray and only used it for one week, it kept getting in the way. I kept having to remove it to get anything underneath, very cumbersome, especially when driving.

Yes, all the trays are cumbersome, but I just organize my needs as best I can. The top tray has quarters, a note pad, fingernail clippers and not much more. The console box has a small Tupperware container for other coins, various USB cables and things I don't need often. Under the box is more stuff that I hardly ever would need and some folded money that I might need in an emergency. All three places are not the most convenient, but I get by. I keep my USB charging cable for the phone in the sun glass holder. Kind of weird, but it works for me. Even more weird is that I have a sun glass case, which loads from the top, attached to the side of the center console next to my right knee. In the case I have ball point pens, and finger nail files.

 

Under the box I keep the manual, insurance card and vehicle registration. However In the box, when I'm driving or not, I have 2 more pairs of glasses, kleenex, Eye glass wipes, a tire pressure gauge, comb, swiss army knife and much more temporary stuff. When I pull off the organizer, things drop out, it falls into the box, I can't find where to place it so I can use both hands.
It's now in my bedroom room holding my wallet and my key fob, no problem there
