Default lane change blinker update

Can anyone tell me the manual process process of updating the lane change blinker from the current 3 blinks? I believe you can change it to 5 or 7. I did a search and found a thread that talks about how to update it manually but it looks like it turned out to be for a GS. I can't find anything in the menu system to change it for a 2016 RX350. Can someone walk me through how to do it manually?

Not a user electable item on the 4RX , you need to have the dealer do it or get the Carista software and BT doggle.

I just had my dealer change my blinker from OEM 3 blinks to now 5 blinks. Programming comes free with first 2 dealer visits i believe.

I used the Carista app to change mine to 4 blinks, one of the primary reasons I bought the app and a compatible OBD device.

I owned a 3RX where this setting was available in the customization menus of the car, so I was quite surprised this feature had been removed in the 4RX. Carista made it a non-issue, and it allows greater choice than my 3RX did. The 3RX could go 3, 5 , or 7 blinks; the Carista app connected to the 4RX allows any number between 3 and 7 (or maybe higher, can't remember).

When you say "this setting was available in the customization menus of the car" for the 3RX are you referring to the consumer customizable settings, or the dealer available changes?

I have a 2013 CPO RX350 and it would be nice to have the Lane change feature. I have become very comfortable with this feature on my 08 Chevrolet silverado.

I don't think that feature is available on the 2013 models. I think it was added in 2015.

My 3RX was a 2015 and could be changed in the Vehicle settings menu.

Did you try the same method that is used on the GS? Hard to believe it wouldn't work the same way.

It doesn't because the windshield wiper stalk, which is used to adjust this setting, is different.

I learned that these are free only with the first service.

Yeah, I can change them in our 15 too.. Why would Lexus change this on the 4RX?
