I'm 6' 215lbs normal build.

I get in the car at least 3-4 times a day, everyday. It's almost one year old.

I do not take care getting in or out of the car. Getting out I usually sit on the bolster as my back is broken, and slide off the seat, sort of. I wear jeans almost everyday. Other than a couple of typical wrinkle kind of marks, the seats are wearing very well...better than expected. The bolster itself seems very strong and is holding it's shape. The seat does get a bit wider as time goes by. Guess my butt is wider than when the seat was new.

My seats are black.

I am getting an F Sport 450h sometime soon and this was a concern of mine. Good to know you haven't had any issues thus far.

I have the same problem with the seats. I am happy to hear that they do get wider. During long drives, it feels like I'm in a vice grip even though I'm an athletic build.

That's the part I love about the seats. maybe because I am not very athletic build and it stops some of the jiggle as the car shakes. LOL

6k miles on my '17 F sport with the red interior and the edge you're talking about is starting to have a faint blue tint to it due to my jeans. I wear jeans to work on a daily basis.

I like the red nuluxe on my NX more than the creme leather in RX.
Nuluxe so easy to clean vs leather.
Nuluxe looks brand new after a year.
There is already a dirt scruff mark we can't totally remove from the leather.

Try washing your jeans to get rid of the excessive dye. If you wash your jeans with a white clothing, and the white clothing turns slightly blue, so will your seats.

I was worried about this as well and I even use my running boards which helps me "hop" over that hump and right into the seat!

Glad to hear I don't have to be so careful and the side bolster of the seat will hold up, thanks for the info guys!

Btw... I love how the seats hug me but can see that being an issue for bigger people.

i bought a set of cheap $20 wal-mart seat cover for mine, it looks like it fit nicely, of course not perfect, but $20 for a set of seat cover sure beat having a old worn out leather seat, i will post pix tonight.

Can the seat airbags still come out through the seat cover?

<meant to be humerous> sounds like my mother, buy a new couch, place cover on it. Then place towel over the cover so cover doesn't spoil...to each their own ha

anyway,

PLEASE NO FLAME ON THE TACKY SEAT COVER

here is the $20 seat cover, after 10,000 miles it still holding up well, only slightly loose from the stretching, but i gotta say for $20 a pair it held up pretty well, i only cover the driver side so i could still admire the passenger side when i am driving alone (mostly alone anyway) and when people come sit in my car they can see the seat and don't need to see mine (hell i am driving anyway)

Looks like the fit of an old condom..

Looks like a baggy 1990's jeans when baggy things were in style...
