Would you buy this car if the leather was a little wrinkle on the driver booster side ? I was hoping it would be more perfect being a $60k Lexus.

I would say no, based upon my own RX and ones I eyed at the dealer. I am sure you have seen a few too in your pursuit of this one?
I am pretty heavy at 6" and 233lbs and my seat will crease under load but always smooths back out every time. You should have the same IMHO.

I've only seen 2-3 RX f ports with crease like this. its funny b/c its only on the red leather. all the other color leather is always perfect. this picture the sale guy took for me, it looks permanent.

Hmm that is peculiar. It does look permanent to me too. I personally would not take it based upon the fact that it's only one seat doing this. First, it makes the driver seat look prematurely worn right? When checked against the passenger one?
I'm fussy though. Can they maybe re-tuck the foam or something? I know they can make this right.

They don't have to make it right b/c I haven't bought it. I wouldn't mind if I put the crease over time. But for it to come like that new. Not for me. I hope to keep this car 10+ Years. They just have $500 deposit. I am going to pass on this car. Too far away and i don't want to leave it in the hands of a transporter. Too bad, it's such a rare car, white 450h f sports.

I bought mine (f-sport) this past March, and show the same wrinkles on the passenger seat, and its rarely occupied...

I was ignoring all other annoyances until I saw this one...I am going to show it to the dealer the next time I'm in for service. The joys of being an early adopter

Is yours red? It's such a small piece of leather. I can't believe they used it. This car just came off the rail straight to Lexus dealer. I think it was like that from the factory.

Yes, red interior and it was not like that when I picked it up. Not sure when it showed up, but actually noticed it a few days ago.

Hate to pop your bubble but that did not come from the factory like that. This was from someone getting in and out of the vehicle. We will be seeing more of these.

We have a 15 F-Sport with the Cabernet interior and have creases / wrinkles on the side bolster in almost the same spot as shown in the pic. However, we now have it over 1 -1/2 years, and on the day we picked it up from the dealer the seats were perfect. The creases appeared over time due to the normal "wear and tear" of getting in and out even though the seats are well maintained.

Default Does your leather look like this?

Hi all,

My front driver seat looks like it way older than it should. There are wrinkles and crest (I'm worried in a few more thousands mile it'll crack). My car is only at 6k miles. The rear seats also have wrinkle on them. We rarely take anyone in the back. Such dissapointing to pay so much to get such quality in seat materials.

Yes.

Rear seats make sure you don't store anything sharp or heavy on them. It will turn out like that.

IF you want to see bad, if you use the thigh setting where you can raise or lower it, try raising it all the way up. YOu will see TONS of wrinkles haha

As long as they do not crack it's wear and tear on seats.

I am at 7,000 miles. 190 lb male.

I'm kind of disappointed in the thickness of the leather as it does warp easily, but I love the smoothness of it. I wonder if any heated blower treatment will fix that.

Default F-Sport Seats

Does anyone have experience with how the F-Sport seats wear. I am a new owner and am worried about the side bolsters in the front seats. As I enter and exit the vehicle that side bolster gets rubbed every time so I am worried it will wear and crack quicker than the normal seats. Would appreciate any feedback. I would prefer not to have to buy seat covers if I do not have to. TIA.
