F-sport seats, comfortable?

Reading all the comments, I now see I’m not the only one who’s experienced discomfort with the front seats. It’s fine for trips of 30 minutes or less, but longer drives hurt my thighs. I’m 6’ and 220lbs. I hope they break in after a few months. It’s only been 3 weeks since I got the RX. Can anyone confirm that the seat bolsters soften up over time? Has anyone tried using a seat cushion? Any other practical suggestions?

I am 6ft 185 lbs and I bought the car used in May 2019. Only within the last few months has it adjusted to my size. Took a while. I still prefer the standard seats but I got used to them. What makes you say two years? It might depend how big your legs are, I don’t have large legs

I really like the f-sport seats mainly because of the lumbar support, it's perfect. I can do 500 miles days, no problem. The bolsters initially were annoying when getting in and out of the car, now I don't notice them.
That said, if you like a smooth ride and a softer seat stay away from the f-sport.

Mine is a 2016 F Sport and didn't like the seats to start with. I found that sitting a little more upright than i did in my Audi was much better.
Been driving it for 7 months now and they have got much better. I think i have got used to them, but they have also softened to my shape i think.
Had a non F sport loaner when mine was in for service and it was comfortable, but i felt the seat didn't hold me as well.
Personal opinion, but suggest a longer test drive than normal to really get a feel for it.

I suggest you contact Lexus Corporate (customer support) and file a complaint about the f-sport seats. The more complaints they get, the more likely they would consider a recall or a fix.

Comfort is subjective. A 50 year old may find the seat unbearable but a 20 year old may find it too soft. Or vice-versa with a 20 year old with back problems and a 50 year old coming from a true sports car. This thread is full of anecdotes and probably harbors confirmation bias from people with or without the sport seats. Same goes with the ML audio thread as well.
If seats are a back breaker (pun intended!), the best thing you can do is rent a F Sport on Turo for a long road trip or commute or whatever you want to optimize for, and judge for yourself.
