2016 RX350 and an iphone 6. The phone is paired for audio, and we're trying to listen to "my music" that was purchased on itunes. All the songs show up at first, but then the music stops, "my music" no longer shows up in "Browse", and when I disconnect/reconnect the phone it only plays the same 2 songs before stopping completely. Even after the music stops playing, the car still shows the phone is connected.


I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, but I'm a dummy.

While the car is running and the phone is connected, Try going to iTunes music ( on the phone) find your playlist or however your music is listed on there. Hit shuffle. This should randomly play your music.

But after it stops playing the two songs, I can't even click back to play those again. The play button just stops working completely.

Some suggestions.

Power down your phone, delete the phone from the car, and register again.

Restart the Music App and make sure you're not stuck on a single artist (that only has two songs??). You could also try using a Pandora/Spotify App just to make sure BTA is streaming properly.

It's hard to know what happen or what you did so I think it's best to ask at your local Lexus dealer. It should be easy fix by changing setting or moving music files.

Re-pair the phone, go to iTunes, hit the shuffle button and see what happens.
If the problem persist check with the Lexus tech guy or your salesman.
