Default when to do 1st oil change 2022 RX 350

I just got my new 2022RX350..Lexus includes the first 2 service visits, but I was told that 1st visit if for tire rotation and the second for oil change...shouldn't I change the oil at the first visit in 6 months?

How often should the oil be changed ?....synthetic right?...thanks for advice...

LOL -- you ARE going to have to crack that owner's manual one of these days ...... LOL.

Manual says 10K miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. If you review the earlier posts on this thread, you will find many owners including myself change at 5K intervals, being a little (or a lot) skeptical of the Toyota/Lexus extended intervals.

I did the first oil change on mine at 1K miles, and apparently didn't hurt it any.

0W-20 synthetic.

....lol...you are so right!!! but can you blame me for trying the easy way?...lol....I should have known better, I have been doing this for the past 30 years of new car ownerships, but then the manuals were just good reading, nowadays those manuals are like condensed "old testaments" ....saving grace is that they also provided you with "cliff notes"....
do Lexus still uses the so called "break in oil"???? ....ohhh....yes.....read the manual!!!...lol

You can read the entire 600+ pages, and you will not find the term "break-in oil". I think break-in oil is where 8-track tape decks, polaroid cameras, and phone booths are..

Wife purchased a new 2022 RX350 in March and I do oil changes 2x a year no matter the mileage, October and April averaging 4k-5k miles in 6 months. She has short 2 mile trips often and living in WI engine and oil never attains sufficient temps during winters.

Just did the oil change at 4800 miles and wanted to reset the service reminder message and followed the instructions in the downloaded manual but can’t find the “Schedule Maintenance” screen. Went to Settings (round circle with edges) and scrolled down but this Scheduled Maintenance selection is not there. What am I missing ??

Mine is an 18, but probably the same. Go to the screen in the middle of the dash and scroll to one of the screens that has maintenance settings.

The screen in the middle of the dash is called the “Multi-Information Display” . This is where I selected the “Settings” Icon (round circle with edges) as written in the manual. Scrolling up / down through the selections in “Settings” does not have Scheduled Maintenance as written in the manual. I selected some of the other icons in the Multi-Information Display but they do not lead to this Scheduled Maintenance screen.

You want the information display controlled from the right side of the steering wheel with the four arrows. In the display window, cursor right to the notched wheel, then cursor down the list. The maintenance reset is down that list of items -- I can't remember exactly, owner's manual shows it.
