i got it fixed when it was nation wide problem.

now, I don't get it every time I turn on the car like before, but occasionally. Happened about 4 times.
It happened again today. However, when it happens it just flash pink, screen turns off for like 30seconds and then run normal.

anyone experience this?
I would let Lexus know the problem is back and let them fix it again when you go in for service.

I think there is a new software to fix that. There is a tsb for it.

Sounds like the update to your car wasn't applied correctly.

This is happening to our RX350 also. Took it to the dealer about a month ago and I do not think they believed it was happening. Last week it started getting worse so we brought it back in and now they have had it for 3 days and can not find anything wrong. Apparently it has left no error codes and is not happening for them. They told me this is something they have not seen on any other cars and do not know what to do. Rather than telling them that I think they are feeding me BS I told them if it's only affecting my car then it must be a defect in my nav unit and they should replace it. I do not know if they really are going to replace it and am skeptical it will fix it if they do, but I'm not sure what else to do. Someone here said there is a tsb for the issue. If anyone has access to it please post the article number or better yet post the whole article.

Slightly off topic - My wife's '14 IS250 was having Nav issues. She'd be driving along and suddenly the nav screen would show her someplace nowhere near her actual location. Often, it would show her in the middle of the Long Island Sound! She brought it in several times and they could not duplicate it. Finally, when it happened and she wasn't too far from the dealer, she went over there and got someone to come out while the car was still running to see it. After that, they replaced the whole nav system (which included the radio).

You have a good dealer....a lot of them won't do much unless they can observe the issue. If they can't fix it this time and it happens again take a video. Assume you have a smartphone! I've done this in the past and it provides the dealer with proof so they can easily get Lexus approval to do what's necessary. There's always an element of doubt when a customer reports a problem.

Default Navigation screen problems, RX350 in shop 3 times

My 2016 RX350 has been in the shop for 3 days now because of navigation screen issues that have now begun to affect the dash lights. I have taken it to the dealership on 3 different occasions. The first time they said it just needed a "software update", the second time the kept it in the shop and later told me it was probably just updating it's system.I bought the car 10 months ago and it started acting up just a couple months in. The screen flashes pink off and on, and the radio begins to malfunction. It also now crashes completely to a black screen with no ability to use radio. This happens sometimes 3 times a week to a few times a month. I told the dealership about this and they blew me off, laughing and saying it's just updating itself. So the other day about halfway in my commute it crashed again and then my dash lights began to flicker with it. Its been in the shop and a firmware specialist from California looked at it and said he couldn't recreate the problem or find error codes. When I got online and found information about the navigation software glitches that Lexus is trying to solve, I mentioned it to the Tech's in the Lexus dealership service department, and they responded that they have never heard about Lexus vehicles having any problems with the navigation system and that I was the only person who has had problems with it let alone complained about it. They said they have done everything that they can and want me to come get it as is. We are now trying to see if they will replace it with a new unit. The service department is reluctant, but said they would contact Lexus Corp to see if they can do that. Sooo frustrating.

THey never heard of the problem? The 2nd day of the Navigation glitch, my dealer's service department line was at least 40 cars deep with everyone having the same problem since it was a nationwide issue.

The problem is back, a few months ago I had reset done and it was fine then about a month ago it did it along with few more times in recent days.
I had it in for another TSB for tranny, they said they are again seeing it and reset by disconnecting the battery.
However it did it again yesterday after the second reset so there is def an issue , they dob't know if its region specific but they think its coming from over air data for traffic which is causing it to reboot.

It looks like this one may be around for a bit, it is annoying but may be something we will need to live with for a bit.
At least the hesitation issue is fixed, I can deal with reboots..

Default Entertainment system reboot by itself.

I wonder if anyone running into this issue I like me. The whole audio and Navigation system and the display will showing Pink, and the system rebooted by itself while I was driving. It happened when I tried to stream music from my iPad and connect the phone to system via Bluetooth at the same times. I brought it to the dealer, they found that there was something wrong with radio unit. they are going to order the unit and replace it.

Default Same Here

I just had the Dealer check for the same issue - they didn't find anything. I looked online and there is an Update that appears to address this issue (although the update is dated Nov 11 2016) but I can't get it to download to a USB Stick. Has anyone else tried to download? My version is A11A5100 - 2016 Lexus RX w/Nav

Happened to me once in 2016. Restarted the car and it hasn't come back.
