Is there a possible setting for getting the other 8 LED blinker lights to operate that a dealer can change or is it specific to a different light package. Not sure if is different light packages. I know the front headlights might be slightly different sort of like the NX model

Hmm...
I have the safety system, adaptive headlights, auto high beam, triple beam, f sport with those 8 led lights.
Maybe it's just an option with triple beam led's?

Hello everyone,
If i missed a thread on this and re-posting I am sorry.
I just got a 2016 RX 350 last week and I cant for the life of me figure out how to change the blinker from 3-7 or 9 blinks. This is my 5th RX so I knew how to do it on the other ones but this one doesnt have a user option to do it. Says in the PDF files I have read that it is a dealer only option. There must be a way to do it. I have watched the videos and read the instruction on how to do it with the washer stick and turning the car on and holding....etc. But it doesnt seem to work.
Anyone have any luck on this???
Thanks in advance
Eric

the dealer is supposed to give you a form to fill out at purchase that has all the possible customizations you can choose from, and it is supposed to be programmed before or at delivery (in my case the dealership provided a technology specialist that came to my house and did it).
personally I suggest getting the Carista, then if you don't like something you can change it yourself.

I've mentioned this in another thread about the blinkers. I have a 15 and can change the setting from the menu in a matter of a few seconds. I can't understand why Lexus would have changed this feature on the 4RX, makes no sense to me.

Try this. It worked on my '15 GS which does not have the setting in the menu screen either.
1. Start with the car completely off
2. Use the rotary **** on the wiper control to set how many blinks you want. This **** has four positions:
- 1st (bottom) position = 3 blinks
- 2nd position = 5 blinks
- 3rd position = 7 blinks
- 4th (top) position = no automatic blinks
3. Hold the wiper lever in the all-the-way-up position, and keep holding it there
4. With foot OFF brake pedal, press the start button twice so the gauges light up (keep holding that wiper lever up!)
5. Continue to hold the wiper lever all the way up for 5 seconds or more (if you go too fast you will have to start all over!)
6. Let the wiper lever come down one position and hold it there for 5+ seconds (don't let it go back to the middle, just let it come down one position)
7. Hold with wiper lever all the way up again for another 5+ seconds
8. Let with wiper lever come down one position again, and hold it for 5+ seconds
9. Let go of the wiper lever. The right turn signal should flash once. If it doesn't, turn the car off and start again at step 1.
10. Briefly move the turn signal lever down 1 position and let go of it again.
The left turn signal should flash to confirm your setting, but not in the way you might expect. It will blink 1, 2, 3, or 4 times to match where you set the rotary **** on the wiper control, so:
If the turn signal blinks 1 time = you changed it for 3 blinks
If the turn signal blinks 2 times = you changed it for 5 blinks
If the turn signal blinks 3 flashes = you changed it for 7 blinks
If the turn signal blinks 4 flashes = you changed it for no auto blinks
Once you have set it to the number of lane change flashes you desire - cycle the ignition Off and then back On, and the setting should be saved.

This taillight is on the Luxury Package and cannot be added to the premium. It took me a while to figure it out because it is not documented
