I think the traffic works with the Nav so unless you are using it or this is an incident, you will not notice it.
Not sure on the weather. I know there is an app for weather but not sure if it is tied to the HD. It's in the Lexus apps.

I have found that the traffic and weather from the HD radio will only work in major cities. I am in boise id and I do not get the traffic/weather from the hd radio. I have found that if I connect my phone via bluetooth to the car I can get traffic/weather. There is a setting under data that needs to be set to HD and mobile. I have the 1 year free enform subscription and I am not sure if the traffic/weather will stop working when my trial expires. Will find out in 10 months. I did find a web site that listed the cities that broadcast the traffic/weather on the HD radio but I am unable to find it now.

The 2016 RX has free traffic and weather with data mainly provided by HD radio. If you have the app suite set up and running, it will use that as a data source in the event of poor HD signal. It's all free. Nothing will expire after the 1st year.

I had traffic but it’s gone now. I live in Knoxville Tennessee. Enform says they will get back to me, not! Lexus dealer knows nothing. I got new iPhone XS but Verizon said it should be ok, same app same configuration. One thing I noticed is the HD indicator that used to come on and off, stays on all the time, makes me think of maybe a new total traffic tower, they will not respond either. Help!

yes, I lost it for a couple days at a time also, but not this long. I am reading where people have rebooted their system by disconnecting the car battery. Makes me wonder maybe that the HD indicator always on in the traffic lcd indicator could be locked up. I may ask Lexus to do that though. Thanks
