Windows down with keyfob
I saw this can be setup as a personalized setting. I thought this was a factory setting however. Is it possible to set it up without going to dealer? I am over an hour away.
I tried holding unlock for a set amount of time, and it did not work.

wont work
carista app will solve your problem
you have to buy an obd2 adapter and pay for the premium app which is 20 bucks.
but you can change it as well as a few other things not available on the vehicle menu

According to Lexus' settings sheet, it should be set up that way by default. I just went out to the garage and tried it multiple times, and it doesn't work on my 4RX either. I'll bring it up during my next service, and they should fix it for free under warranty.
Here's the section from the settings sheet to show it should work by default:

the new one they changed it. now when you press the unlock twice and hold it does nothing you have to get it configured at the dealer or carista app

Like aznkorboi mentioned, the fob can be programmed with the Carista app and OB2 scanner to open the windows when holding the unlock button. I did it a few weeks ago and modified some of the other dealer only programmable settings. It's very easy. The key in the fob is another way. Turn right for open, left to close/lock. Only problem is the fob leather case has to be removed to access the key release button.

I bought the Carista ODB2 adapter and software. Simple and easy to use. Changed a few settings with breeze. Worth the $60 total I paid. Wasted time and gas would have been more than the $60 even if it was in for the first freebie change. Not to mention I can make changes later on if I choose or help someone local out with changes if they want. Can't see myself using this too often unless it's to read a error.
