After having been locked out of the website for over a month, I finally was able to resolve it yesterday and log in--through help of call support.
Upon entering the site,I tried to use eDestinations, and no matter what address or POI I entered I got a red message saying that they were 'unable to find the destination'.
I called back and again spoke to Customer Service and they told me they were having problems and could not give me a timetable for when they would be resolved.
Within the last few minutes I tried it again, and got the same results.

I must say, Lexus online sites leave a great deal to be desired.

Default Lexus Drivers Site

In the past months Lexus has been updating their lexus drivers site and it tells you that some sections are presently unavailable. Recently, I reestablished my account and I can access all of the features. Just to make sure it was still okay, I just researched for hotel, gas and restaurant and it provided all the information I requested. I use the app on my cell phone.

Bootman, did you add it by address? I am betting you cannot add a restaurant or hotel by having it search by name. Please let us know if you can.

I too have been have trouble with eDestination of late. I have used eDestination regularly since purchasing my 2013 RX 350. Earlier this summer, like others I suffered through the Lexus Drivers website redesign and the inability to access eDestination. Once I could access the service, again like others, I found that adding a new destination via "Destination Name" has not worked well, if at all. My latest frustration was that the way I had been accessing eDestination on the redesigned website stopped working. Originally I would log onto Lexus Drivers and page down to "Your Destination Awaits" and then click on "Explore eDestination". About a week ago, clicking on "Explore eDestination" started going to a dead end screen. If anyone else is also having this problem, today I discovered that if you access the menu at the top of the Lexus Drivers screen and go Technology>Enform>Destinations>Manage Folders, you can access your saved folders and destinations. The original access path that I was using is still broken. I still haven't discovered a way yet to go directly to eDestination (one click).

Default Kinda Sorta Working

I have been trying and trying to use eDestinations. Today, it kinda sorta worked. I had a customer service rep on the phone and we 'walked' thru it. I put in the name of the hotel, the name of the town and the name of the state. The result.......COULD NOT FIND. The rep says to put in address. Yes it does find the address and when you zoom in the name of the hotel I was looking for was showing. But what, at the time you're doing this, you don't know or have handy the address???? The 'OLD' web site days eDestination could find the 'name' of what you were looking for.....but not now. I am still finding this eDestination quite frustrating.

Oh yes, the reps reply was we are still working on it. But for Lexus it seems they are content the site is up and working.............No It's Not!!!

I have been a very heavy user of eDestination since we bought our ES350 in 2013. I have over 100 destinations distributed across 13 folders. We were in Europe for 10 days last month, and when I got back and discovered a new Lexusdrivers Web site, I quickly determined that the new eDestination facility was not only incompetently "updated," but it clearly wasn't debugged. Like the first typewriters that were "pessimized" because they couldn't keep up with a fast typist, the new eDestination seemed designed to discourage use. As someone else has pointed out, eDestination is now unable to find destinations by name that the old system had already found. The search by address capability is still there, but the user is asked only for street address, city, and state. The resulting entry has the street address in both the street address field AND the name field. I discovered that I could then edit the entry to replace the address name by a useful name, but the need to do this is further evidence that the facility was incompetently implemented. Furthermore, the old system allowed a phone number to be provided in the original entry so that it appeared in the "Phone" portion of the car's main display. Now the only way to get a phone number added to an entry is to include it in the comments section available when the entry is edited. But the comments field is only visible in the car if you select "Details."

I have had numerous conversations over several weeks with Lexus customer service about the above problems. Like others, I've been told that their IT people are working with high priority on the issues, but I've seen little evidence that this is true. I finally got a customer service representative to check with an IT department supervisor who admitted that there had been discussion about actually deleting the eDestination capability because Lexus had far fewer users than they had expected. Fortunately, that suggestion was overruled, but it doesn't leave me with much optimism that they've given this problem any kind of priority!

I've pointed out to the salesman and technology specialist at my Lexus dealer that I consider this situation unconscionable. That they should take a useful capability we're paying for and using (however few of us there might be doing the using) and sabotage it so that it is both more difficult to use and doesn't even work properly is a sad commentary on Lexus customer relations.

Maybe the Club Lexus users of eDestination should all add our names to a letter addressed to Lexus management, pointing out how badly this reflects on the company and insisting that something should be done to make the IT department give higher priority to a fix. Bringing back the old capability intact while debugging (or even abandoning) the new one would be a good move.

Default Disappointing thread

I appreciate the thread the last person posted. Quite thorough and informative. Very disappointing too. "We" pay a few hundred dollars for the Enform app and that includes the eDestinations. I find it hard to believe that a 'luxury' car company would contemplate eliminating a function that MANY OF US find very useful......even tho WE are not maybe a 'huge' number of folks. To be frank the function I use most for that 'few hundred dollars' is the eDestination and NOT the other stuff. Is this going to mean ...... maybe ..... I'm going to have to start using my GARMIN again; which is still quite usable and has a mapping function I can use on my computer and then transfer it to the Garmin unit. And this Garmin is several years old.........................

Lexus is losing some of its attractiveness.......'we' are not as 'special' as we used to be?

It was by address.
Search is broken.

If they move towards android auto and apple carplay then this all becomes a moot point but then I would want to have an upgrade available so I can use these.

The aftermarket has kits available. (search BeatSonic)
