What I meant is that a 245 width tire will work just fine. I would recommend you get the 245/55/19 tires.
I used my winter tires and wheels that were previously used on a 2014 Ford Explorer. Same bolt pattern, just needed different lugnuts and centering rings.
That RX was totaled in an accident (not my fault) with the winter wheels on it.
thanks for clarifying
i was worried that the 245 tire would be too wide for a 7.5” whee.
what was the width of the Ford Explorer wheels you had?
do they make a 235/60/19 snow tire????
I haven’t seen any - the sizes I listed in post were the sizes I found snow tires available for.
to the other person that responded - I already have the 19” wheels - getting 18” wheels at the moment isn’t an option.
Last week I did a quick search and found Continental. But now it does not seem come up on my Google search.
I searched on Bridgestone (Canadian) site and found DM-V2 (model I have) at size 235/65 R19, which has 2.9% difference with OEM. Better than nothing!
The R19 for SUV seem difficult to find. There is more availability for cars.

thank you for looking again.
i think i saw the same thing (the site was like 1010 tires or something like that)
i was worried the 65 profile might be too tall and interfere with the suspension.. but after taking a quick peak there seems to be enough clearance. i was just hoping someone had personal experience.
Good day to all, I am hoping for a little help regarding TPMS sensors. I just purchased 2020 RX 350 f sport with 20 inch wheels . I have brand new 245 60 18 with a new Michelin winters on aftermarket 18” rims, I know tires should be good. Wondering is there a difference between 2016-2020 tpms sensor

Hi. I am looking to buy winter tires and rims for my 2017 FSport 3. I have read a few recommendations about downsizing the tires for winter driving. I’m just curious if anyone here has stuck with the 20” size and if there was any issues in doing so? Or if you did downsize, what size did you go to? Thanks.

I have the same 2017 F-Sport and will be using 235/65R18 for the winter

This is mine below. I had blizzaks on 18" rims on a previous vehicle and currently use 20" rims and winter traction seems to be the same. We get plenty of snow.

I live in southern Ontario and commute out of town alot. I have Michelin X ice on 18" Lexus rims. Loved the car and tires in winters over the past 4 winters.

I live in Edmonton. Do you find an excess of snow build up in the wheel wells using the 20”?
I would prefer the 20” I’m just wondering why downsize? From your picture it seems that there is plenty of room.

Do you have 18” tires for winter and summer or do you use 20” in the summer?
