Ok Folks -
This is the OFFERED deal on TWO Models that I am deciding upon. Perhaps you all can tell me if these are SOLID OFFERS or what I should go back to them with??
Both vehicles are same Exterior Color (Mica Blue) and Interior (Noble Brown) - One is a Standard RX & the other is a Luxury Package RX
Standard = MSRP $ 52943.00 adjusted (Discounted) to $47043 then tacking on all the Fees etc Out the Door = $49844.69
Luxury Package = $60,513.00 (Discounted to) $54,613.00 Plus all fees = $57,737.93
What say you all - and even tossing this out there too - WHICH one would ya go with??
THANKS ,

Finally struck a deal! After negotiating down to $51,500 out the door on a $54,199 msrp AWD premium RX350, I decided to see how far I could go with the Luxury package $61,257 MSRP (white w/black interior). We were able to negotiate to $58,800 out the door. So, we got the MSRP down to around $55K for around 10% off of MSRP which was about as good as it gets around here, I guess. Even though the deal for the premium package was a tad better, I didn't want to have any regrets of not going with all of the options as I plan to keep the vehicle for a long time. Overall, we had 3 dealers quoting. Dealer A offered $62k out the door for the luxury package, dealer B offered 60K, and dealer C offered $58,800 (Dealer A offered a hail mary for $58,500 at the last minute for a non-preferred color combo...$300 not worth saving). For Dealer A we visited in person and test drove, Dealer B we worked with primarily by phone as it was the furthest away, and Dealer C was 99% negotiated via email with the only call being to say we were on our way to pick up the car. I know that we could have gotten a better deal if we had traveled a bit, but one dealer was sweetening the deal for services that we would never be able to take advantage of based on the distance So, we stuck to one within an hour drive. I really wanted to buy a used one and even found one at an online dealer based out of Marietta, GA for $47,990 (http://www.momentummotorcars.com/det...-16513704.html) the online reviews I found were mostly positive. I literally combed the country looking for the best deals, but the holder of the checkbook decided she wanted to stay within a few hours. Our dealer told us that Cincinnati and Los Angeles were the most saturated car markets as there were more dealerships per capita than anywhere else, but I didn't find it to be a good point to make since the best deals seem to come out of California. This is the second car I've bought via email exchange, and I feel like it's the right way to go.
Was your chosen dealership Lexus RiverCenter by chance?

I just purchased a Red RX 350 AWD yesterday from the dealer at Automall at Fremont, California. It came with a few options but no navigation. The MSRP was $51,083. Along with the $1000 cash rebate for 7/4 promotion, the internet manager offered $44,583+tax&fees. Then at the site, they were willing to get down to $44,300+tax&fees. The car came with the basic 18" wheels. Is it possible for me to only purchase and install off market 18" wheels? Thanks!

People getting from 10% to 15% off MSRP (base plus packages)
I got my at 11% off, thanks to this club.
Never walk into a dealer before you confirm a price with them over email or phone.
Once you walk in, is difficult to bring the price down, unless you price match.

11.6%, not bad.
Is this your first round of negotiation? Or you been back and forward with them many times?
If this is your first round, I think you still have a little room to go down.
If they do not go down with price, them, get them to throw in few small packages, like all weather mats, key holders. (these cost them almost nothing)
2 years of Lexus service. (standard is one year, and cost $350 per year)
Get your friend a $200 referral if you told them your friend strongly recommend you to go to them.
Good luck.

Thank yi
Thank you. Will do. This is my first email from them. I also will be trading in my 2015 Lexus LX with 16,000 miles. I haven't discussed that yet.

Thank you everyone for your input. I had my 2004 RX for 13 years, which drives as well as when I got it and is now my Mom's, and I now own the Caviar Black with Parchment, Luxury Package. I haven't driven it yet, but, big road trip on Saturday. Thanks again.
