The discount is right around 5100 then - exactly 10%. Is this the best I can do given that we are now in Nov? The poster after you seems to indicate not but the dealer won't budge and the other dealer I spoke to said he cannot beat this offer.

Lexus of Seattle is much more friendly and likely to make a deal. Just tell them how much you're willing to pay and tell them to call you back when they have the car you want at the price you want. But reasonably you should expect around 6-8% off MSRP depending on what you're asking for how exact your criteria is. Good luck!

Try Faruq Mansoor at Coliseum Lexus of Oakland. Seattle has no concept of competition and they refuse to compete with Cali dealers (especially Lexus of Bellevue/Tacoma). A ton of people in Seattle get their cars from Cali because of this.

I completely agree with you that Seattle has no concept of the competition. Did you purchase your car in Oakland? I'm currently looking at options out of state.

Try Numer at Lexus of Stevens Creek in San Jose or Patrick at Putnam in Redwood City (also Bay Area). I'm happy with my purchase from Numer last week. You could also wait for 1) end of the month, or 2) December as Lexus typically runs specials then (aka "December to Remember").

The December to Remember sales promotion has already started, and the dealers are now receiving the same incentives that they will receive from Lexus throughout the period of the promotion. It is the true, however, that, as we get closer to the end of the year, the dealers might have more reason to reduce their profits more in order to boost their 2017 calendar year sales numbers. But the down side of waiting until closer to the end of the year is that, as dealers are trying to clear their inventories of the 2017 RX in anticipation of their first deliveries of the 2018 RX, 6 weeks from now, you are likely to have fewer choices with regard to colors, packages, and options.

I ended up purchasing in Seattle because they ended up making me a deal I could agree with on a RX450h F Sport with the exact colors and options I wanted. I was looking forward to the road trip from Cali though! The savings from Cali would've paid for one-way flights for two, lodging, and a trip through wine country.
If you lack the time, the shipping options I found were $1400-$2000. So if you get a really good deal in Cali you can still save a ton of money even if you ship it.

i got bids for shipping, all were in the 850 range, 2k miles from California to Minnesota, not sure what the 1400-2k pricing was as posted earlier, covered shipping or bad pricing, ??

4,933 becomes a 2,433 discount from the dealer after lexus cash, which is 4.6% off of MSRP. Myself and others have been around the 10-12% off before taking into account the 2,500 Lexus cash. Also, I believe that you can only take the Lexus cash or the promotial APR
