your taxes are crazy high up there, also interesting you got dinged 1225 for PDI ?? here pdi is pre delivery inspection and detail, not sure what that would include up there.
thanks for the time, and enjoy the new ride

say what did the remote start consist of ?? is it just a module or wiring also, and is there a separate remote or it works on the original remote.

Yes,
$1,225 CDN for PDI ($950US)
$820 CDN for Freight ($637 US)

Cars are generally more expensive up here.
When dollars were on par 5 years ago, a lot of people tried to shop cars in the US.

That would equate to $54.5k US. With the discount he was offered, it came out to an equivalent of ~$47k US, which is a significantly lower price than you can obtain here in the states. Are you disagreeing?

Nope - was merely referring to the 70K MSRP in CAD$. But some folks in the US are getting 12% or so off MSRP so your presumption is not spot on anyway.

I live in Washington and I found it quite hard to get a reasonable offer on an 2017 RX 450H F Sport. Seattle had the 'best' offer, approximately 1k below MSRP. I ended up driving down to Portland and made my purchase there. I negotiated online and they were transparent through the whole process. If I recall I was able to negotiate 8.8%.

Default Rx350 vase 4x4

As an owner of. 2007 gs350, just picked up an rx350 base with awd.

msrp:46,500
got 12% off msrp not including 2500 rebate
dealer also offered me 2.9%financing
great smoothe transaction if you’re in the bay area
other dealerships couldn’t match the price
*+1 (415) 860-1025‬ Aaron at Serramonte Lexus; say Daniel referred you. I
btw I don’t get any referral for this; I actually live in Michigan and he was very clear of what he could do; was able to have my family member purchase the vehicle for my mom. Paid exactly what he quoted me over the phone. Young guy thought I’d give him credit where it’s due.

I think the Publicly Traded dealers, like Autonation or Sonic Automotive would be a little more aggressive w/ their pricing. At the end, they get volume some sort of hold back based on the number of total units moved. So it still work out for them.
Just a theory...

Doesn't EVERY dealer get the holdback? - 2% in the case of Lexus I believe.

Ask for 15% as the starting point NOT including Lexus incentives.
