I think i got a good price on the RX 350 F Sport 3 package, with $6k off it came out to $66,867 CAD with winter tires/rim set and the expel film for hood/fender/mirror/roof/a-pilllar/door cup, and $70,510 with GST. I pick up the car next Thursday.

I wanted to also get an extended warranty, but haven't heard of canadian dealers giving discounts on extended warranties. Does anyone know of canadian dealers getting discounts on extended warranties - I've read thread of USA buyers negotiated lower prices.

With my 2010 RX350 i had the 6 yr/160k warranty and was looking at getting the 6 yr/180k warranty. My current Lexus has 197k km. A friend of mine with a 2012 lexus had to get his electrical system looked at after the warranty ended and it cost him $400 just to get the diagnostic done (3 1/2 hour shop time) and than sold the car.

I was planning on purchasing both the Platinum planextended warranty and the paint protection plan. The Platinum plan extended warranty is $3540 for 72 months/180k km and net cost would be around $2500, when you deduct the pre-paid maintenance from the overall cost. There is an additional $999 for the Smart program paint/leather protection plan(includes rock chip, scratches, dent removal and alloy wheel, as well as interior leather). I've read of USA buyers buying a car at one dealership and buying a lower negotiated price extended warranty from another dealership. Anyone have experience of that in Canada? Any recommendations of dealers that will offer the extended warranty at a lower price???

Are you getting 2017 or 2018 model? 2017 already has $6000 Lexus incentives.
I was wondering how much discount you got off the MSRP (if 2017 excluding that $6000)

i'm getting the 2017 model. Both dealerships offered me a 2% cash discount on top of the $6k rebate, and the one i purchased from offered me choice of the additional 2%, or free winter tire/rim set, which is worth $2800 or $3500 depending if i go with the 18" or 20". In the past in Calgary, the Calgary dealer has said that Lexus doesn't negotiate.

MSRP seems low for an FSport.

2017 RX450h - took delivery yesterday in Dallas
Caviar / Noble Brown
$56,694 - MSRP

$50,575 - Sale Price (~11% off)
-$2,500 - Lexus Cash
-$750 - Loyalty Rebate
$47,325 Net Sale Price

Wasn't seeing this kind of traction in Chicago and this was the color combo we wanted, so well worth the $45 flight down to Dallas. Got a weekend trip out of it and a nice 14 hour ride today to fall in love with the car

Congrats on your new ride.
Did you buy at Sewell Lexus, and did they make you pay sales tax or you gonna pay at your local dmv office?
Thank You.

Thanks! Yes, Sewell, and they were able to handle all of my local DMV stuff in-house. Truly impressed with how smooth the process went.

My 2015 lease is up in the next few months. Would it be worth it to take a better deal on a 2017
or get a 2018, now that they are starting to trickle in?

I want a luxury package and there are so few of them now, I think the dealers will offer few
discounts.

Also, my Florida dealer is now offering something called Lexus Plus, upfront, no haggle pricing. Has
anyone used this and how good were the discounts?

You'll of course do much better on a 17 at this stage although I guess residual value (presume you're leasing again) takes a hit now with the 18s out.

It has been a while since I've been on this forum. But I'm leaving Acura and coming back to Lexus.
We're going to look and test drive a 2017 RX350 this weekend. I've been reading about the issues to look for on this forum. Man, CL is always full of information.

Is anyone in Dallas Fort Worth? I just want to gauge what type of discount from MSRP to be expecting.

I'm looking at either a Base or one with Navi. Not sure which yet, will check out both.

Check out the deal Jhook16 got from Sewel few posts above.
You can also try to get the best deal by playing the numbers game between Park Place and Sewel.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Thank jaymk:

I saw that deal he got, that's a fine deal. I got an email offer for a 2017 RX350 w/ Navi for $46535, and the salesperson claims that is $6500 off MSRP.

I'm looking for a Base with maybe a couple of options, but no Navi. This is personal preference, I don't care about the bigger screen, and has never used the navi more than twice a year on any of my cars. Maybe we can get a solid deal from Sewell for a base model.
