I want to get a buy a rx 350 2017 f sport within two weeks. so far, dealer gave me ( MSRP: $59,039 )
Internet Price with Appointment: $54,039. and 2500 lexus cash.

I counter offered $52K, but he won't deal without going to the dealership.
For mine, I started by finding dealers within ~6hrs that had cars that I was interested in, and wound up with a list of about 9 dealers. From there, I emailed them all indicating that I would be purchasing within the next 30 days, and wanted their price on VIN xxx (or just the specs if they had a few of the same options). From there I grabbed the lowest price I got back and sent notes back to all the others that I would like to buy a car from them, but they would have to come down on price. I didn't give them the target, but after a few rounds i knew who was open to negotiating. I was out of state, so called the dealer who had the car I really wanted within about an hour of closing and pressed a bit harder. Saying that I would put a deposit down right then and there, and buy a flight out for the coming weekend, I was able to get down a bit below the upper end of my target range. Don't know if this would work for you, but I'm happy with my results

I go to the dealer in person, find the one I want and then make an offer. It's either yes or no at that point.

Thats certainly one way to do it. I got mine a 4hr drive from home, so that wasn't really an option (would have had much less leverage), and also requires them to have the car you want. I'd say even if you're going in person, probably good to scope out the inventory they have beforehand. Going online means that you can very easily control the pace of negotiations. Want to slow it down a bit to hear back from some other dealers, either don't respond to emails right away, or send one back saying that you appreciate the response but won't have time to review until later in the day. Want to speed things up, reply quickly, or give them a call. Again, not saying that one way is better than another, but having a few dealers competing at the same time is almost never a bad thing

In Toronto, Ontario, Canada, I emailed around 7 dealers in late December in the Greater Toronto Area. I received no response at all from some dealers, including Don Valley North Lexus. Lexus on the Park responded and was willing to negotiate by email somewhat. However, the salesman seemed temperamental and stopped communicating. Ken Shaw Lexus responded and seemed interested, but the salesman said it’s too complicated to negotiate by email. Northwest Lexus in Brampton was very responsive and willing to negotiate by email. I ended up agreeing to a deal by email in one day and went in to sign the paperwork. They agreed to the same deal which the salesman at Lexus on the Park said was impossible. Northwest Lexus seems harder working and hungrier for business than other dealerships in the Toronto area. I can’t understand why some dealers wouldn’t even provide a response. They spend so much money on marketing, and to not respond to someone who has shown interest in their vehicles is surprising. Perhaps business is good for them, so they don’t care about spending the time dealing with emails.

You can try Nalley Lexus Smyrna Atlanta. Around 5 hours drive from Mobile.
There are other dealers in Atlanta too that you can shop.
Email them and ask for their lowest price and go from there.
Remember the $2500 Lexus cash and I think there is a loyalty rebate of $750 somebody got here. These should be on top of their offer.
Keep us posted.
Thank You.

Thanks for the suggestion. Here is a quote i received from new orleans. They wouldn't budge another penny. Everyone else was higher and didn't want to make a deal.

Good deal! Congrats! I contacted the same dealer and they wouldn't offer me the same. They were saying purchased in December, a different program. Did you purchase in December or Jan? Thanks!

17 or 18?? If 17 I for sure would pass,
I would also take a huge discount on a 17 vs 18, but I paid cash, and have no intention of selling for many many years or more.

Lexus of New Orleans just called and said they will take another $400 off and can deliver. So price will be $51,470.00 plus tax and title.

Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta has one with MSRP of 61,059.00 and willing to sell for 53,700.00 plus tax and title delivered. I am 5 hours away. These are the two options i have.
