What's the opinion of RX350 Demo models? Got a quote right now for a 2017 RX350 F Sport AWD w/ 11,400mi:

MSRP: 58,921
Sales Price: 50.082
Rebate: 4,000
Net Sales Price: 46,082
Liceense, Reg, Fees: 340

Does this deal look pretty good on a Demo w/ 11.4k miles? Seems like a solid deal w/ the rebate but it is a lot of miles and not sure how abused the demos are?

Thoughts?

Just got a proposal on a 2017 F Sport. I am definitely going to get the cap cost down due to a few factors: 2017, has 8100 miles, front grills was replaced due to someone backing into it, and rear bumper painted from a scratch. So here are the initial numbers:

MSRP 57.059
Cap Cost 53,636
Tax 505
Acq Fee 795
Doc 150
Rebate -3100
MF .00086
Adjusted cap cost 52,176.36

Month Depr 609.31
Rent charge 70.88
Total 680.18 a month

I think thats pretty horrible

That’s a horrible deal. You can do better on new RX. On a demo (used) with 8100 miles plus body damage it stinks even more. Run from that dealer. Just scroll up and see what offers have been obtained here or check Lease Hacker site if leasing.

3% less but a used vehicle w/11k on the clock.

I`d say a hard pass, its freaking march, if you have a 17 "untitled" but used you need to crank up those incentives not offer 3% better then a new 17 leftover with 0 on the clock

Sent you a PM. It was Park Place in Plano. I believe the only 17's left are parchment.

So as I posted, I am happy with my deal but looking back at my lease numbers I am not sure I understand them. This is on 12k/36. Lets start with the down payment.
Cap cost reduction 2897
First monthly payment 550
title 33
reg 30
license 133
inspection 7
Total is 3650 down

So all I paid was $550 and the rest of this was the $3100 lease cash going on. I am not sure if it matters how they apply this.

Gross cap cost
Agreed value 50,258.25
Acq fee 795
Doc 150
LFS Service Fee 471.50
Gross Cap cost is 51,674.83.

So how the payments were figured:
Gross cap cost 51,674.83
Cap cost red (2897)
Adj cap cost 48777.83
Residual (30,432.07)
Depreciation 18,345.76
Rent Charge 1,454.40
Total base of month pmt 19,800.16
Lease payment 36
Total monthly payment $550

I'm very happy with my deal but is there a lesson for me to learn to say apply the lease cash somewhere else ect? Thanks for the feedback

As long as you didn’t put that $2897 cap cost reduction from your pocket. I mean, it was from the $3000 Lexus cash? If so, then it’s good. That LFS Service Fee of $471.50 looks bogus though. It looks like they snuck that in.

Just enjoy the car now. You still got a great deal. I haven’t seen anything like that I. Southern Ca lately. It seems like the dealers are holding out. Maybe sales are stronger, because BMW’s ans Audi’s lease so bad right now.

correct. I only paid 550 drive away. Ok, so next time pay closer attention to the fees. So there should only be a small doc fee and the standard acq fee.

So you’re good. I’d probably given them that for the discount you got.

I got a quote for a 17 RX350 AWD (MSRP $55029) from Park Place TX. 12K/year/36months, monthly payment $597.32, and 0.00051MF. I live in Louisiana (10.5% taxes). That dealer told me that I need to pay LA taxes upfront. I think I don't need to pay taxes. Am I correct? Do you think that this deal looks good? Do you know what "Fees & Insurance ($231.25)" and "Upfront Taxes ($310.86)" are?
