Default Music level in the ML system

What level do you guys use to listen to music on the ML system in the car. I have an Fsport with pano roof.

I need to put mine up to 35-40 which seems pretty high.

Mine is usually set around 30 when cruising on the highway. I find that I sometimes have to turn the Sirius up closer to 35 though.

It depends on what I'm listening to and if my wife is in the car or not.

30 40 wife in
40-50 wife out

Although on occasion wife cranks it to 50+ if she likes it!

Wow...30-45? That's a lot higher than I keep it. I usually have my car set to 20-25.

23 for Bluetooth Streaming, 22 for iPod, and 25 for XM Sat Radio! I'll have to crank it up and see if I like it!

30-45 due to excessive drum playing for 30 years...and a few kick butt stereo systems at home and in vehicles.

Yep, I bias the volume towards the back from center and by doing so you need to add a bit more volume to get the stereo separation at it's best. 30 to 40 at highway speeds.

.. and I thought it was already plenty loud when I have it at 20. Source mainly USB stick. Nice to crank it up once in a while, but I have yet to go above 25 -- feels like I'm being overpowered.

These settings are the sweet spot for me. Quality sound, and volume at 40. Perfect for those highway drives. (30 in slow city drives)

That setting is good for the front passengers. What happens when you have rear passengers and complaining about it being too loud for them while it's perfect for the front. I have an older crowd in the back and they are not to fond of loud music sometimes =T. I leave it centered and have it at 30-35 if I like what i'm hearing.

I seldom (rarely) have pax in the back. But if I did, the volume wouldn't be that high anyway.

30-40 as well. The system is noticeably quieter than the ML in my IS350.
