Heated Seats and Steering Wheel not that Warm

I think you are lucky. I test drove a 2019 RX 350 Luxury model yesterday and it was similar to my vehicle. Very poor heated seats. I test drove a Hybrid premium model (no luxury models available) and the heated seats were fantastic.

I have zero complaints with my 450h seat coolers & heaters, but the heated steering wheel is a freak’n joke! The dealer says it’s working normal, but it’s barely warm at 9 & 3 & freezing elsewhere on the wheel.

And that barely warm makes the back of my hands feel even colder.

I have a 2017 RX350 F Sport and I have almost a non-functioning driver seat heater. Car has been in service for for 1.5 weeks so far. They said the heating grid is inside the cushion and have to special order it to replace it. Supposed to get it back tomorrow... supposedly.
Service report states "CAUSE: INTERNAL FAULT IN HEATER GRID. REPLACE DRIVERS SEAT HEATER CUSHION PART# 71102-0E100-C1".
The part number for mine is for black interior, yours will be different if you have a different color interior (e.g., Rioja red, etc).

I would have to agree with folks here, my previous german car seats would get much hot than my current Lexus. But it's livable. I guess the degree of heating varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Don't bother
If you are in the market for a 2020 with the heated steering wheel......don't waste your money. Our wood trimmed heated steering wheel only heats at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock points (leather wrapped area).

its really quite easy to figure out. It’s only going to get warm where the leather is on the wheel. To the best of my knowledge no manufacturer heats the wood portion of a steering wheel. Just buy it. People will complain about anything and keep n mind very few people rush to a forum to praise a vehicle. Most of them are complaining about one thing or another.
