i have the semi-aniline leather Lux seats, no issues with heat, i keep them on auto all the time, computer setting middle, zero issues.
I think you are lucky. I test drove a 2019 RX 350 Luxury model yesterday and it was similar to my vehicle. Very poor heated seats. I test drove a Hybrid premium model (no luxury models available) and the heated seats were fantastic.

Eddie420 - How is the passenger seat? Please post if your driver seat is fixed when you get your vehicle back.

Maybe Lexus realized that this is a problem and corrected it !! I wish mine had those seats.

I have zero complaints with my 450h seat coolers & heaters, but the heated steering wheel is a freak’n joke! The dealer says it’s working normal, but it’s barely warm at 9 & 3 & freezing elsewhere on the wheel.

Mine is like that too & on top I also have the lukewarm seats (adjusted to the max). This is my only complaint though.

And that barely warm makes the back of my hands feel even colder.

Quick update on this. Got the car back today and the heat is working how it should. Gets nice and toasty for the winter weather I am in.

Service report states "CAUSE: INTERNAL FAULT IN HEATER GRID. REPLACE DRIVERS SEAT HEATER CUSHION PART# 71102-0E100-C1".

The part number for mine is for black interior, yours will be different if you have a different color interior (e.g., Rioja red, etc).

I would have to agree with folks here, my previous german car seats would get much hot than my current Lexus. But it's livable. I guess the degree of heating varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Default Don't bother

If you are in the market for a 2020 with the heated steering wheel......don't waste your money. Our wood trimmed heated steering wheel only heats at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock points (leather wrapped area).

No problem, and no big deal. That is the way it is designed. Lots of posts here regarding heated steering wheels.

Does it at least get hot at 9 and 3? We are buying a new 2020 RX and I want a heated steering wheel but this thread is making me question it.

its really quite easy to figure out. It’s only going to get warm where the leather is on the wheel. To the best of my knowledge no manufacturer heats the wood portion of a steering wheel. Just buy it. People will complain about anything and keep n mind very few people rush to a forum to praise a vehicle. Most of them are complaining about one thing or another.

Hot enough that I turn it off after it warms the two holding points enough to be comfortable.
