Experiencing the same issue with our 2016 RX350. Brought it into service, and the tech said the car needs a new sunroof to replace the sunroof seal. $1,500 repair.
I suspect that isn't the actual issue but as someone previously stated the track has a leak.

The tech and service manager ignored my comments about the issue not being the sunroof seal. We'll see how this goes, I suspect the leak to continue, and a battle with the dealerships service dept to fix the issue correctly.
I had the same issue, No more leak after the sunroof was replaced.
That's good to hear.
The service manager just called me to let me know the sunroof also has a rattle, the cables for the track rattle. $5,100 repair....have to pass on that.

I would be getting a second opinion elsewhere. I would also try to find a 3rd party that works on sunroofs. You never know what a few phone calls can turn up.

I got a second opinion, and the shop showed me a tsb for the sunroof leak. Unfortunately the tsb only applies to 2017-2022 model years. I could not find any local sunroof repair shops, or shops that specialize in that kind of work.
Yes, hoping the $1,500 sunroof glass replacement is the fix. I know I'm being ripped off regardless, I found the sunroof with glass for $680, or just the seal for $70. The dealership told me that for my particular model they have to order the glass with the seal installed, and the separate seal is not compatible.
contact Lexus itself. I had issues with a Harley (was under warranty) but was told it was maintenance & not warranty issue. Called Milwaukee and spoke with Customer Service. He was so cool after I explained my issue. All he said was as far as he was concerned it was warranty and asked who had my bike. Should have seen the look on the Dealer service faces (all of them) as they were not happy I went to the Manufacturer. Remind Lexus CS that you paid a lot of money for the car and the issue is a known problem. The 2016 & pretty much the same car as the 2017.
