My lease ends on the 2014 RX using Samsung S7 Edge and will be leasing 2017 RX next week.

Has Lexus resolved the issue when playing music on the Samsung Device where you can consistently control S7 Edge music from the Lexus screen?

For 3 years, this has worked inconsistently for me. When I get into the car, I put my phone away so pulling it out each time to play music via bluetooth is a pain. This was also an issue with my 2011 RX on Samsung S3 and S5.

Anyone tried this? Please let me know.

Are you specifically talking about the native music player and mp3 playback?

I typically use Pandora or slacker via Lexus App. Have had a few disconnects but nothing consistent. The standard player has been fine for me the times I've used it. Can't recall ever having an issue on either my 16 RX or 14 IS.

Yes. I have issues with using the media player via bluetooth. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not. very hit or miss, has been for many years with Samsung S5 and S7.
