Caught my rear wheel on a tall curb coming down a congested, spiral, garage exit ramp.
As per the photo you can see that not only has the rim been damaged but also the face of the wheel. Has anyone had this type of wheel successfully repaired? I ask as the face appears to have a pattern machined into it and wouldn't seem suitable for the usual mobile refurb outfit...

Thanks in advance and happy holidays.
find a good wheel rim repair on yelp! Visit them and see what they can do. It should be ok
On my father's RX, he has the same rims and scratched the machine-finished portion of the face. The rim repair company that the dealer outsources these repairs to, was able to successfully fix it; can't even notice that there was a repair performed. So like mentioned above, look for a good rim repair person. Sometimes your dealer can refer you to a good one, but don't do it through the dealer since they will take a chunk of commission and they will charge you more.

Complete new rim is about $475 in US for that design anyway, so worse case it isn't to bad to replace and then use that damaged one as spare if it fit underneath or wherever the spare is located.
