performance parts

My first performance parts will be a set of Michelin tires to get rid of the Bridgestone ties. That should induce handling allot.
I have better handling with my winter tires on 18" rims than the oem Bridgestone on 20" rims.

I was wondering the same thing. I think the car is too new for anything to be out. The only after market item I know of is a K&N air filter. I kind of want to try a new air intake for added HP. That's my main gripe with this car. haha but it's not supposed to be a fast car so we will see.

Too funny, the Michelins are probably no better. My 18 winter rim/tire combo is better than the stock 20" Michelins.

That is good use for your money! Michelin Premier LTX are better then Bridgestone Ecopia.

Accessible mods: First thing I would do is a K&N air filter. Nigel-JDMParts can get us front and rear Yamaha dampers (or TRD) for our 4RX's as well for better handling. Here for more. Also wider rims 10.5" +30 offset for a bit better handling.
There's lowering springs (RS*R and Tanabe) in the works for the US market (best bang for your buck for lowering). Coil over spring kit (RS*R ti-2000) in the works for the US market as well. Air ride (air runner) system is also available (example), but expensive. I've also seen exhaust systems in the Asian market but not for the US market yet.
