I bought mine from "Discount Parts Monster" of Hollywood, FL. It also goes by Toyota of Hollywood. I have a 2017 RX 350. It was $113.85 plus $15.51 shipping. The parts were labeled from the Toyota factory in Toronto, Canada. The paint was a perfect match and the parts were perfect. It took me about 40 minutes to install. Total cost, $129.36.

Do you have the part number for the molding? Thanks

The part number is dependent on the color you want. I needed "Atomic Silver" to match my car and that was part # PT938-48141-30.
If you require a different color then the number will be different.

I bought mine from the dealer within a week or so of buying my RX350. So far, I have one ding on the molding behind the driver. Someone hit it pretty well and left a noticeable mark on the molding. Had I not had that molding, I would have a very bad ding on the door.
One of my previous cars from a few years ago was an Acura TLX. I bought moldings for it from the dealer. The problem was that they did not protect the door. As I explained to the Acura HQs in the letter that I wrote, in a test my other Acura's door hits the door of my Acura TLX. It completely misses the molding. The Acura gentleman that installed the molding said it really doesn't protect but still looks good. Acura HQs gave me a complete refund. I kept the molding but got rid of the car for other reasons.

I also had an Acura with factory moldings, but the shape of the door towards the top, stuck out past the moldings. One windy day, I had to park in a different lot & when I came back to my car, someone’s door hit so hard, that it creased the body line. It would have required the entire door to be completely reworked & repainted. I sold that car for other reasons, but since that happened, I’m always looking at the shape of the doors & looking to see if moldings will help protect or not. The RX doors are pretty good for moldings.

I just bought mine from Bell Lexus and paid $118.00 delivered to my door (no tax and free delivery over $100). All you need to install them is a roll of 1" painters tape, a wooden yardstick and a plastic straight edge. Take your time to understand the directions and it'll be a breeze to install them.

Thanks for vendor. I went ahead and ordered them as well and installed them this week. Easy to attach, just be sure to measure carefully. They turned out great - now hopefully they will block some errant parking lot door openings!

Default Body Side Door Molding

Been getting into modding my RX here lately. I've picked up a lot from you guys with brighter backup lights, mud gaurds, window tint.

I've been seeing this body-side molding pop up on Ebay for ~$70. Not the stock Lexus ones that protect the door, but chrome that sticks to the black plastic molding on the bottom of the doors. Anyone try a kit of this stuff? Does it hold up well? How does it look on your RX? Has anyone tried it on an RX with the running boards?

Ebay link

If those chrome ones are made of metal with adhesive on the back, then they are super strong from my experience. I had installed something similar on the door of my GS.

I waited too long for my wife's 2020 RX. She got a ding right in the crease, no simple pull-out there.

I ended up buying a set of body side moldings, along with both front, and rear mudguards, around $210 for everything, Lexus of Warwick, free ship. Eminent white pearl has been discontinued for the’16-‘22 models, so I sourced a paint kit from Amazon.
I will post pictures when complete. I did find instructions on this site.

i hunted Lexus mudguards and was told they aren’t made. Yours must be not Lexus brand, right? Anxious to see image.

Just saw you’re a RX not an ES.
