I have a new 2016 RX Executive package - absolutely love it! Question is how do I increase the voice prompt volume? Note I don't mean the navigation voice guidance volume - got that figured out. I mean the volume of the prompt that tells you to say a command etc. when you press the voice button on the steering wheel. Her voice is too soft and I need it 1 step louder! Thanks

 

I quick-checked the Navigation manual but couldn't find anything about it. Does pressing the Volume Up button on the steering wheel or turning the radio volume up do anything?

 

Tried that - doesn't work.

Sadly the voice settings volume isn't adaptive so playing music at even moderate levels will drown out the navigation prompts.

 

Hit the mode button on the steering wheel to mute the stereo and then the map button to have the directions repeated. The stereo unfortunately doesn't mute like it did on the 2RX.
