I read there's another thread that the moonroof is extremely expensive given the whole moonroof needs to be replaced. Lucky that CarMax is fixing it. Like you said and in the other thread, the whole thing needs to be replaced.

I was thinking about the RX F Sport which mostly had this panoramic moonroof on the trims I saw but that's on hold the moment.

I see my post was added to this squeak noise thread but it’s not that type of noise. Here is a video of my clicking noise.. it’s like a churning.

Open the top window and try applying silicone on all the rubber surfaces. Also apply the silicone around the rubber seal of the top glass that doesn't move. Worth a try and silicone resists water. Good luck.
