Default tire balancing

What type of tire balancing have you used and how would you rate your experience?

Most places use a high speed tire balancing machine. Once the operator is trained, it is pretty well fool proof. It is pretty well the standard of the industry. Some go a step farther and even shave the tires.

Do they leave the tire on the wheel or remove it and balance it on the machine.?

They leave it on the wheel it is mounted too. That way the wheel and tire get balanced together. Just removing a balanced tire from a wheel would require it be rebalanced when remounted to the wheel.

Make sure your shop balances using a Road Force balancer.
