Planning to keep my RX 350 for a long time and hence should I purchase a life time wheel alignment service (Firestone etc.)? Is that service good enough for RX 350? With all the lane assist, auto brake etc. will the alignment service work as expected?

Alignments are only $125ish and i only do alignments when i notice excessive tire wear. Also if you happen to purchase a new tires, many shops will give you a discount on an alignment.

Might cost more but I would prefer Lexus to do the alignment, if required, at service.
I made a deal with the service manager at Lexus once for a free alignment with purchase of tires. He even matched a competitor's price on the tires.

Very unlikely you will need the lifetime alignment service, if you keep your RX stock. The lifetime alignment benefit people who lower their cars to the extreme (frequent toe and camber issues). That being said, Firestone is a competent shop where I am and would trust their services.

Don't forget that Lexus has a one time first XX miles one year aliment that is free.
I have written a post about my experience with my RX and the poor alignment from day one.
Watch your tire wear and get your free alignment. Luckily I got a free tire front right tire (screw in tread), cause that's the one that feathered. Yes I should have noticed it earlier, but didn't.
