How to remove tonneau cover
#16
I have a 2019 Rx350 and cannot remove the cargo cover. It appears to have the spring caps, but I can't budge them. Has there been another update on how to remove them? I found nothing in the manual and have not found anything for the 2019 online. TIA!

When I first got my 2016 RX350 I had asked my Sales Consultant for directions. He sent me a video how to do. No problems since, I remove it and put it back in. First you flip the cover over and then push the little **** to the left and then it falls down.

Thanks jim256, I did try that but can't get get it to retract. I can't budge them and I'm not what you would call a helpless female! I even climbed into the hatch to get a better grip and still they wouldn't move. I'll have to ask the dealer next time I take it in to try it. Maybe if they get it once it will be easier next time.

Odd, I just went to mine, the screen is retracted, I grabbed just the right side housing with the dots on top, where it goes into the bracket, gave a little pressure to the left and it literally dropped out of the recess.

The spring loaded end caps are a bit hard to grasp and pull at the same time...
Try holding the entire cargo cover and simple pull it toward one side or the other.
This should free the end you are pulling away from and swing it away from the wall socket.
