Question 2019 vibrating brake - warranty?

I have a 2019 RX with only 32000 KM on it, recently when I brake during high speed (over 80km/h) there is vibration in pedal and so.
most likely it is warped rotor. first, why this could happen given car has low mileage?
secondly, car still under "Powertrain & Safety Restraints" warranty (comprehensive is over). will Lexus fix this issue under warranty or have pay out of my pocket

Well, rotors can warp when overheated, (emergency braking, etc). With 32k KM on it, brake service is not unheard of, depending on how it's driven.
Brakes being a wear item, I doubt it would be covered, but that would be up to your dealer.

If you mostly do slow, gentle braking then you could just have brake pad material build up on the rotors. A way to scrape it off of them is to find an empty road, go 40 mph and hit the brakes hard bringing it down to about 15 mph and repeat this 3 times to get the brakes hot and scrape off any residue. Do not stop with your foot on the brake or you will warp the rotors as they are hot, continue to drive for another mile or 2 and cool them off. Then test and see if the vibration is gone or reduced. This is called burnishing your brakes and is the recommended procedure when new brake pads are installed to mate them to the rotors.

If pads are worn it is a wear item and probably not under warranty. See my response to your similar question in another thread.

I imagine that would be a wear and tear item.

Also, confirm that all lug nuts were properly torqued to specifications. Over-tight lug nuts can create uneven deflections on the rotors. I have experienced this myself on other vehicles; merely use a good calibrated torque wrench to tighten them in stages (after taking the weight off the wheels and loosening them).

Agreed, and don't expect your Lexus dealer to torque to spec. I had my local Lexus dealer do a state-mandated safety inspection a few weeks ago. The torque spec for the 4th gen lug nuts is 76 lb-ft (103 Nm). When I rotated the tires a week later it took 125 lb-ft (170 Nm) of torque to remove the nuts. Loosening torque is often slightly higher than tightening torque, but not by that much. Knuckleheads.

Wait, what?! How else are you gonna stop?

He says not to come to a stop only while doing the procedure to "break-in" the brake pads.

My pet peeve. It's warped rotors most likely from hot rotors & getting wet from rain. It will cost about $400+ to turn the rotors & new pads. Hopefully, it will be about the same time as new tires. That will cover all bases.

Post up what you did, what it cost and if it solved your issues.

Here are the Hawk website bedding instructions:

After installing new brake pads, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30-35 mph applying moderate pressure.
Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 mph.
DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.
After step 4 your new pads are ready for use.

These instructions are for the Hawk HP Plus pads. They say the pads come burnished...maybe this is why the bedding process seems much less intensive.
