thanks, I'm also looking for screen mirroring option, but it might be just as easy having a dash mount. I currently use a garmin friction flexible base one for my s7 phone. Concerned it might leave a shiny mark on the new cars dash. I do love it being just to the right of the steering wheel.

since I have y'all here, on the voice guidance audio level, it didn't seem to coral ate to audio volumn, as in if the radio volumn goes up, voice goes up too. I did find the setting to adjust like 1-5 or something in the settings.
thanks much for the time. Had a new loaded 450 demo for overnight a week or so ago, mine gets built the end of this month.[
Took delivery of a 17 RX last week and I decided to test out an app I downloaded called NaviBridge on my new car as the delivery specialist was walking me through the tech features. I saw another post about the ability for this app to send destinations straight to the nav without having to go to the trouble of pre-programming in the Enform app. Downloaded it but never got the chance to try it in my GS that I ended up trading in for the RX. Anyway, after pairing my phone with my new car, I fire up the app, search for a destination and then select the option to "send to nav." As soon as I do that, a prompt comes up on the nav screen to accept a POI destination and from there I was able to start route guidance. Was totally blown away especially since it was literally the first time I opened the app and it was unbelievably easy to use on my first try. My delivery specialist had no idea about this capability and said he was going to start adding this to his list of tips to share with future deliveries. Never used the nav in my previous two Lexus cars since it was way too cumbersome and could more easily program on my phone and get Siri to speak through the sound system. Now I have a workable and seamless solution to easily program routes and populate in the expensive nav that I paid for. It’s esepcislly nice since the HUD illustrates the nav instructions and incentivizes using the car’s nav system. Would highly recommend the app to anyone frustrated with the enform destination programming process.

what is the difference between using the app or merely setting the destination right on the car NAV? I'm missing something here.

The 12" screen is well worth it. Makes reading texts easy, makes selecting media inputs, easy, etc etc. I was hesitant to get it but now am damn glad I did!

I’ll only speak on my own behalf but I find that entering destinations on the car’s nav is slow and clunky. In my opinion it’s a lot easier to enter an address using my thumbs on my phone than clicking around letter by letter with the mouse in my car.

I'm not sure why you would want to be manually entering addresses with the mouse. The Generation 9 navigation system actually works quite well with voice commands, and that is especially true if you take the time to make sure that you have used the proper procedures for using the voice commands (which have been explained quite well by mcomer in posts earlier in this thread). Further, if you use the vehicle's navigation system together with the Destination Assist app in the free Enform App Suite, voice commands work even better.

I tried NaviBridge but it did not work with 17 RX350. I am using an Android phone. What could be the problem?

Many app reviews in the Google play store mentioned issues with the 16+ rx. Not sure if an email to the developer would help any or not.

Haha that’s exactly my point. Would not want to use the mouse for destinations. Honestly haven’t taken too much time to fiddle with Enform since the updated system was put out. My initial experience with it on my ‘14 IS kind of soured it for me so I turned to alternatives and haven’t looked back. I’ll need to give it another try though. Especially if the voice commands actually work well. The benefit to me With this Navi bridge program is that there was virtually no learning curve. Fired it up, programmed a destination, and sent to my nav on my first try with little effort and no need to consult with a manual. Not to sound lazy as I really enjoy digging into the complexities of the car, but sometimes you just want stuff to work without work involved, you know?

Yeah, they found me a atomic/black 450 on the assembly line, i added a few more bolt ons, hitch, mud flaps, side moldings,
It had the headlight and hud we wanted, came with a power rear seat, but i guess thats ok.

Clicking boxes sure adds up on these things. Lol (over 65k msrp)
My discount percentage was better before i added another 1k to 1500 worth of stuff. They wouldn't do more cause i checked more. Thats ok though. Still getting about 8500 off. Delivery is scheduled for next week,

I use voice recognition and it seems to work fine for me.

Awesome! Well sounds like you made it your own so I’m sure you won’t regret spending an extra few bills for personalization. Enjoy!

My enform subscription has terminated, how do I access the free enform app suite and destination search.
I have downloaded the lexus enform app suite, there are many options, destination search is not one of them.
