I am and have been using a Samsung 6s phone with my 2016 RX 350. I used to have the Quick Message icon appear when I received a text so I could respond with a pre-programmed response back. Now the Quick Message icon has disappeared. Any thoughts? I am not using it for email, just text.

Maybe you lost your "show notification" on your phone. I find my settings go nuts once in a while.

When I first set up my Android phone with the Bluetooth, I was getting my text on the nav system and an option to do a Quick Message response. I don't see that option anymore on the screen. Any help? I have a 2016 RX 350. Using a Samsung S6 android phone. If I go into messages, it will pop up along with the EMail tab, but I need it to pop up when the initial text comes through. Thanks.

I have a 2017 with a Samsung S7 and have the same situation. It's not a phone setting. I've done them all and it worked great on my 2016 Highlander.

After weeks of working always getting a quick message option, often (not always) no quick reply option. Also, started receiving e-mail notifications as well as SMS. I cannot remember if this started before my vehicle service at the Lexus dealer.

Sometimes the quick message returns if I switch to e-mail then back to SMS (on the Lexus display not the phone).

The SMS forwarding to the screen works about 10% of the time for me... And none for my wife. She can't even retrieve her messages at all. So lots of issues in that feature.

Although I'm OK with it since I found the notifications to be annoying and distracting.
