Default Lexus RX450h Surround View Camera

Hey, to all RX 4th Gen owners I have a couple of questions regarding the surround view camera.
At what speed does the 360 degree camera go away? Some cars' 360 view camera fade away after moving up to 15km/h, some stay there even at 25 km/h, I was wondering for how long can it stay?
How would you rate the camera's helpfulness and quality overall compared to competitors?
Does it have anything that makes it stand out from other car brands?
What I mean by my last question is this:
For example my Nissan Patrol camera looks like this:

Front tires' location is shown here, which helps at parking sometimes so I do not hit the curb in the front while parking with my tires.

Volvo has a large camera, it shows you objects from far away.

Mercedes shows you the width of your tires so you know exactly what you're going to step on with them (doesn't leave you guessing).

BMW has this cool 3D feature and shows you exactly how wide your doors will open to tell you whether you're safe to fully open it or if you're going to ding the other car.

Genesis has a pretty high quality camera (probably 1080p at least).

So is there anything from Lexus that is unique and stands out from other car brands? I'm just into such things about cars so excuse me and my English :P.
Thanks in advance for answering.

I have tried them in several different vehicles and they all work about the same.

They do it slightly different from one maker to another but the end result is pretty much the same.

This has saved me from the curbs when parking. Great feature.

6 mph

feels like 720p camera

shows you the front wide angle fish eye so its helpful if you're coming out of a blocked view parking lot or turning and you cant see to your right or left

360 view helps alot for parking etc but when you zoom in it gets all grainy

i still wouldnt get a car without one

6mph is horrible, I gripe about this too. Also stuff gets interrupted when it switches between the surround view and other screens at 6mph, such as Siri.

I think that the speed threshold can be modified by programming

I'll definitely see about this with the dealership when I buy my RX450h. You could save hundreds of complaints from me just for this post, thanks...

RX pano camera has an annoying black strip in the middle of the front view. I see the Hyundai does not. The black view makes it heard to see oncoming vehicles when trying to negotiate a right turn with upcoming traffic at a juncture.

That's the whole point. I don't think they want you using a wide view camera to look forward when driving.

I am pretty sure that Lexus want you to be looking out the windows instead of the screen when going faster than 6mph.

I can not see it being that big of a problem.

Yes I agree, but at a stand still when crossing a juncture with a truck or larger vehicle turning left you can't see oncoming traffic. The black strips stops me from seeing cars coming in the oncoming lane. It would be a good second check.

Anyways one annoying thing about Lexus/Toyota to much hand holding. Ie lockout of the navigation, the pano cam black strip. It's annoying when other manufactures don't see the risk so great to disable or lockout those aspects.

I'm 5'10 and I always position my seat as low as possible in all the cars I often drive, and when entering or exiting areas such as mall parking or whatever there are often curvy curbs and the traffic has smaller vehicles and move at least 10 mph, so I did kinda need a camera at least in my Nissan Patrol. I really wish Lexus could program the camera for me to allow the camera to stay there for at least 15 mph.

I understand your wants but I am betting there is no way that this can be reprogrammed to 15mph.

I have to agree here, wish there was no stripe. Both my RX and LX have this same center stripe.
