Well I owned a 2010 (same gen as the 2015) and now have the 2016; both where RX350 standard suspension non F-Sport. I think the 2010 seemed a bit more quite and was smoother over bumps. The 2016 does have more road noise, but I have the Panoramic sunroof now so noise would not be a fair comparison. Competition like the GLE is quieter than the RX. Handling and ride wise the 2016 is stiffer. I have 20 inch wheels vs the 18 on the 2010. Overall, when I compare the 2010 and 2016. I would call the 2010 handling to be clumsy compared to the 2016. As it also rolled a lot in turns. Also acceleration seems better in the 2016. The 2010 felt a bit slow especially when passing on the highway (65-75 mph).

I guess I would just test drive both and see what you prefer. Also it never hurts to consider other brands too! I would do as much testing as needed as a car is statically the second most time you spend in outside of home and work!

Nice comparison, I have never owned a Lexus prior. I have been somewhat disappointed with road noise and ride quality.
Not that its bad but it's no better than most of the Domestic cars I've owned which weren't nearly as expensive. I guess the older Lexus models would have been more in line with what I expected.

Having owned and driven a 2015 and a 2017 there is a big difference. Handling in the 2017 is better, ride is much better, cabin noise is less in the 2017, safety features are much better, No sure what the OP means by changing lanes feels unstable, but I don't drive mine like a Vette or Viper.
Harder to accelerate, unsure I understand what is meant by that. Both feel the same to me. Again, I didn't buy it to go fast or drive like a sports car.

The 2015 is a great vehicle but I would choose the 4RX over the 3RX anytime.

We just bought a 2017 Rx to replace my wife's 2013 Rx. No comparison. The new vehicle is so nice. We also purchased the 12" monitor that shows the 3D model of the car and surroundings vividly. No chance of side swiping garage doors, or going over a curb while turning. It activates at slow speeds.

Thats great, lots of luck with the new ride. I wonder if they resolved the Drone/Vibration issue. Seems like any new members are not experiencing any issues.

I'm not sure I even understand what the drone issue is but I guess that means I don't have it.

My NX has better acceleration than RX, which makes NX more fun to drive. But sometimes need a break from the rougher ride for the RX silk smooth ride.

I had an NX as a loaner. The ride was terrible, way to rough for my taste. Especially for a Lexus, really surprised Lexus would make a crossover that rides so bad. It did not feel like any kind of a luxury vehicle.

That 12" monitor is really nice, I'm kicking myself for being cheap and not getting it on ours.
