Fair enough, but I am was just not ready for all these issues when the brand of the car is given Top ratings from Consumer Reports for reliability and Luxury. As far as Phone integration goes, may be I should have expected that because I have yet to see any Automotive journalist praise Lexus for Infotainment Unit/Software.

Every car makes noises, alot, but some are normal and some are not.
Thanks for the input. I am taking the car to the dealer this week. Hate to sound like a broken record, but I did not have these issues with my first vehicle. Hope things get better after this.

Initial quality and reliability are two different things. Check out jdpowers IQS and VDS reports.

Debris falling into the blower motor cavity is bound to happen. The filter sits right above the blower motor. Hopefully next time, ask the service writer to have the technician to unmount and drop the blower motor below the dash to remove any debris that remains inside.

As for the phone connectivity, I believer there was a navigation update that resolves this issue. I just can't remember if it was for the RX350 or another Lexus model

I am 100% sure there was no issues with the connectivity proper setting is not an issues not a malfunction. There are 3 parties involved: Lexus, iPhone and owner but it is Lexus fault by default since it is $60K car.

i do not generally wait on Automotive journalists to do anything that would influence me. Unless you iPhone was very old it should operate well with the Lexus system.

My money is on an iPhone, or cable related issue causing your 2nd problem. Did it work when you originally left the dealer?

Iphone connectivity and a rattle, OMG I have been living with an engine vibration at 1500rpm for a year now.
Boy I wish I could trade places with you!

I think someone is not reading the post before replying. The same phone and the same user had no problems with another brand of car, so you still going to defend Lexus?

I'm seriously starting to think that if there are any genuine Lexus customers on this blog? or a majority of people here are paid by Lexus to defend them!

I do know what is your source of income, but I'm a very hard-working person, and I value each and every dollar that I spend. So a $60,000 car is a very premium car for me and I don't think I should be dealing with these issues to begin with.

If a vehicle rattles on the day one, I doubt its long-term reliability.

If people have nothing to help me, and instead did choose to come here and beat me down, I have reasons to believe that you are getting paid by Lexus to defend them.

I am not defending Lexus, it doesn't need any defense for the issues that you are experiencing. I am questioning choice of words on the first post on this board. Malfunction, galore, lemon while not having either of those.

milk659, CL is a site for Lexus enthusiasts. It's also a place to come for information and to ask questions like yours. Those who are happy with their vehicles will express their opinions. You may not like them or think they're helpful. But understand the tone was set with your first post. It's unfortunate you're having problems. Give the dealer a chance to address them, and maybe schedule time to meet with the technology specialist regarding your iPhone issues. You didn't mention which one you have. That could possibly make a difference. Or take a look at the Lexus MobileLink website for compatibility information.

Good luck getting the problems resolved. Keep us posted.
