At the risk of sounding stupid, I don’t get any HD stations where I live, but places I travel to, do have them. I just reach over to the tuning **** & go up or down & it gives me all 3 sides of the channel. I think there is a setting somewhere in the menus for HD radio, but I could have dreamed that.

I created presets for the HDs I use. For example, in the channel listing it will say something like 101.1 HD1, 101.1 HD2 etc. It does take 2 or 3 seconds for the radio to lock onto the HD signal - that's not a Lexus equipment issue but pretty standard for every HD radio I've used.

The **** changes the entire frequency and not the HD channel. There is a setting in the large radio menu, but it is very inconvenient and I am surprised they built it this way considering how conservative Lexus is and how much time it requires your eyes to be off the road as you dive into the menus to change the HD channel.

Thanks, this worked! I don't seem to have the 2-3 second delay either. Maybe because I am switching between HD channels on the same frequency.

This is probably impossible, but is there a way to delete only a single preset?

I think once you're locked into an HD station, you won't have the delay moving to a different one. Only when moving from a non-HD.

I traveled to the DFW Metroplex this weekend & picked up several HD stations & learned that I couldn’t get all versions of each frequency...hmmm, I must have dreamed that I was able to do it. I noted several annoying things about these radios.

My RX is a 2016, but the firmware for the GPS said 2015! The area I was in was fairly new, but certainly before 2015. The damn GPS wouldn’t find my location even though there were barely any clouds & wide open spaces. On the way home, it was trying to take me off the Interstates to BFE, so we resorted to Google maps & our memory & made it home fine. There is clearly problems with my unit picking up satellite signals. I also noticed that the sound quality is better in the higher numbered channels than in the lower single & double digit channels. We listened to 70s on 7 for about 1.5 hours & we were both ready to turn the radio off. It really fatigued us!
