There is a small gap in my seats.

 

Mine is almost perfect, show this to the dealer and have them fix it.

Just checked out mine and I never noticed the gap. It's much smaller than some of the pictures posted. Suggest you take in when you have a chance. The other point is you said they don't line up with the bar. If I understand this, maybe one of the seats is tilted back. I know after my kid rides back there it's tilted pretty far back.

 

You might be right, the 60% part that has the arm rest seems a bit tilted backwards.

 

No, both seats are in the same position.

 

My 2017 RX350 has a small gap too. I think this is to give the seat backs room to slide forward/backwards and when folding down.
