Do you have the 450? I have the 450h F Sport and existing part looks exactly the same as the 450h non f sport resonator.

I put mine in too.
Not too noticible in lower end.
I only have about 150 miles on the car, and havent really opened up the throttle yet.
Assuming it would be more notifies at WOT.

i understand how the sound generator works - in the photo of the sound generator that you provided is looks like there is a connection for a tube - as you stated it connects to the intake manifold.

my question is where does that tube from the intake manifold connect to now? Is there a connection for this tube on the new part? Or does it need to be plugged up?

Based on the photos you provided of the new part it doesn't look like there is a connection for that tube from the intake manifold.

Oh wow i always thought my 3RX Fsport was loud... I got it for the looks and fancy bells and whistles but was surprised how loud it was. Then I figured it was probably a different exhaust or something to make it sounds sportier. To be honest I gotten used to it and i quite like the sound when i punch it.

Maybe I'll ask the wife if she wants to change it since it's so easy to change and she drives it

It is not that much quieter when cruising around, but that growl when i push the gas to accelerate is gone... its like a normal car now, not silent by any means though. For the price (13 bucks i think?) it was worth it.

In the NX you can turn on shut off the sound generator. I am presuming that it's the same for the 2018.

I noticed you're in Cali. Can you tell me where you ordered this part? Curious if you ordered it at your local dealership in Cali or from somewhere else in the US. I tried calling my local dealership in VA and they said this particular part is out of stock in the entire country. And they're not sure if it's discontinued. Looking to pick one up. Thanks.

Default can't find the Lexus part to reduce engine noise

I just tried to order the modification to reduce the fake engine sound from the dealer in Canada mentioned in the Lexus forum newsletter and got a big surprise:

" Because of increased costs to process and ship International orders, we have a $99999.00 minimum on all International orders.

Please add $99982.76 to your order before proceeding.
"

Needless to say, I did not continue with the order. Now what? Where can I order the part if it's out of stock in the entire US?

I ordered from local dealer, Stevens Creek Lexus, took about a week to get in.
