Windshield glare and amplified engine noise
Hi everyone,
i bought my 2017 rx350 f sport almost a year ago and the second day of owning it I noticed that all the headlights and taillights cause a double glare through the windshield. It took Lexus 8 months to “change” my windshield and the problem is still there. After they changed my windshield, I noticed an amplified engine noise coming in when the engine gets to higher rpms. It sounds like there is a hole in the car and noise is coming in. Lexus said that this is normal. After taking it twice they said that it’s the drone noise and they are working on a fix. I don’t believe them. Has anyone experienced these problems?

I had to replace windshield on my Acura and for the first month some times it felt like I was driving with an open window. After a while it got back to normal. I was warned that it takes some time for sealant to get set but it took a long time. I really do not understand why.

If they did change the windshield did they use Lexus glass or 3rd party glass. That would account for the extra noise. I am with the above poster and never had a problem with any of my LX windshields. The double glare sounds like it could be a cataract issue but just a suggestion.
