Default Enable warning alarm on back seat belts

The front seat passenger and driver seat belts trigger a warning alarm if they are not buckled while a person is sitting on the seat. This is ideal for safety reasons.

However the back seats do not trigger any alarm if the seat belt isnt buckled while there is a passenger in the back seat. I can see the 3 lights appear for each screen if someone hasn't buckled however these lights disappear once I start driving and no alarm is triggered.

Ideally I would like an alarm to go off if someone is in the back seat and not wearing a seatbelt. If they aren't wearing a seatbelt and I get pulled over by a policeman then I'd be the one incurring the fine.

Does anyone know how to switch on a warning alarm for the back seat belts.

car is RX 2017

There is no such sensor built into the back seats to detect if there is a human in the seat. All you get is the reminder on the dash but only if you have opened a back door.

Actually, there is a seat belt sensor for all 5 seats.. The seat belt indicator is in the center dash, next to the A/C controls. I actually want to turn off the rears because my passengers seem to enjoy taking off their seatbelts when I am near the destination. It does not beep if the seatbelt was not buckled before you start driving, however, it beeps if the seatbelt is removed while the car is moving over about 10mph.

Ha! I have a brother-in-law who always takes off his belt a block or two before our destination! ??
