Just please let me hear that the vibration and hesitation issues have been resolved for MY18. Lexus has to address this. I wonn't hesitate to pull the trigger on a new order if this happens. Otherwise I will move on as the nearest dealer to me is about 75 miles or more away from me, I dont want to be going back and forth.

Yeah, I think the regular hybrid is shy of 4750 pounds. Anyway, when I asked my dealer manager about the L model release a couple of months ago, he said the first build would be on Dec. 18 in Japan. He also said that exports from Japan are typically a 90 day turn to the US, and so he said we should expect the RX L (350) around February. How come most of the press says January?

JSracer - I suppose I could but really like the dual exhaust outlet look and am trying to avoid the premium fuel requirement. Locking diff is also a selling point for me, I dont think you can get this with the hybrid. I live in a rural area in NE Ohio.

You could probably could get a 350 bumper if you wanted to. The 450h does NOT require premium fuel. Lexus fills your 450h from the factory and dealer with regular fuel. There is a small debate on the hybrid forum on this website, you could read it there. However, most if not all have not had issues with putting reg. gas. As for the locking diff, the 450h doesn't have one, it has an electric motor in the back.

No Panoramic roof for RX 350L?
I waited for this vehicle for a long time and just found out they skipped the panoramic roof on this trim. I wonder why? This link shows options on each trim. http://www.lexus.com/models/RX/comfort-design

Put the deposit down and do everything you want and when the car arrives take like an hour to test drive it everywhere. STop and go traffic, freeway, and see if the issue pops up. If it does say no I don't want it.

i would like to trade in my 2018 Gx460 for 2018 Rx350 L but anyone know why 2018 Rx350 L does not come with F sport pakage ? i love the fsport look , btw what is the f sport pakage ? thanks

I'm betting Lexus thought that if you're buying a 3 row vehicle meant for family duty, then you care more about comfort and isolation rather than sporty driving dynamics. It would probably be too expensive as well. The front is the same as the regular RX, so you could probably slap on a F-Sport grille. The package itself doesn't add any more power, I think it just adds a harsher ride with active dampers. It's more of a look package than anything else, and most people just say it doesn't add any sporty driving character, but that it just makes the ride stiffer.

2018 RX 450h is much cheaper than 2017 in US
It seems Lexus slashed the price of hybrid for 2018 in US. (check US website)
2017 RX 450h = $53,035 (USD)
2018 RX 450h = $45,695 (USD)
that is $7,340 cheaper. that is great.
However, in Canada price rose from $70,300 CAD to $70,900. that is $500 price increase.
Why, who knows!!!

First, leather and heated/ventilated seats are no longer standard. Both now require you to first add $640 for the heated & ventilated seats, then $1,110 for the Premium Package.
Incidentally, the Premium Package requires you to choose a moonroof, which is also no longer standard. A power tilt & slide moonroof adds $1,350 and also gets you roof rails, another feature that used to come at no extra charge.
There's also the fact that a navigation system is no longer included in the base model. To add it, you'll have to add a $2,120 option. Altogether, that's an increase of $5,220. But that's not all.
A blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, arguably one of the more useful features in a modern SUV, is no longer included. The feature now adds $1,065 when bundled with the options above.
The final tally comes out to $52,975, or $1,055 less than last year's sticker price. That's considerably less than the $7,340 price cut that the vehicle seems to offer on first glance.
