Lexus did this for 2014 GX460 model year.

From 2010-2013 GX460 has 2 models - base ($53,445); Premium ($58,240)
From 2014+ GX460 has 3 models Base ($49,085); Premium (somewhere in the $53k-$54k range) Luxury ($60,715)

Marketing was running wild "Lexus lowered GX460 almost $5000 grands". However, if you checked all the options for 14+ like what it is included in 10-13, the price is HIGHER.

Depends on whether you have the 18" or 20", and FWD or AWD, and sometime F-Sport vs Non F-Sport. There are usually a couple different available sets that the cars come with from the factory. Usually they're Bridgestone Ecopia or Michelin Premier LTX's from what I've seen. You can check www.tirerack.com they usually indicate the original equipment options.

Could probably do a better search within the RX model specific forum as well.

Those are considered premium tires. My buddy's wife's NX200t came with cheesy tires, forget now what, but it had a B traction rating....cost cutting

If it had a Latitude that would be bad, seen them on MDXs...

Parents new 4Runner limited and the current LX570 as well as the Tacoma come with B ratings for traction. Really disappointing IMO.

It's just weird, why would a premium car not ensure all OEM equipment is an A, on a scale of A to C, and keep in mind this is self reported. Michelin Latitudes are terrible tires known for dry rot issues, yet they still get an A for traction. Buddy's wife's car has Geolandars made by Yoko, and I believe they get bad ratings from the public, came on the NX200t....

Wow good to know, we've completely taken them for granted. The only reason i know is because I'm the one that washes the car.

I've had a completely different experience with Michelin tires. Been using them for many, many years without any problems at all. Most well-known rating organizations that I'm aware of generally rate them as excellent. Surprised you had problems.

In my opinion Michelin Pilots are the best tires on the market, and I wish our cars came with them.

Default Rx350l

I saw the new RX 350L this past weekend and I believe it will be a hit with customers. Wheelbase is the same as non L versions, but body was lengthened 4.3 inches. A third row has been added (kids only). The 3rd row seats glide magically to either the upright or stowed location. Marketing research indicates most buyers are seeking 3-row seating.

Does any who works at a dealership, or on the assembly line know if running changes have been made to include the fix for the exhaust vibration/droning? Eagerly waiting your response. Thank you.

Someone reported in the other thread that he already had it installed on his 2017 (late production might have gotten it), so it must be also the same on the 2018 model.

EDIT: That someone is Ssteigss
