Default Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4k

Hi ClubLexus,
I'm just getting around to installing my Viofo A129 Pro Duo that I bought during Black Friday deal. I would like to get the parking mode properly setup with a fuse tap.
I have a 2018 RX 350 F-Sport.

Couple of questions,
- HK3 ACC Hardwire Kit. Which fuse tap should I get? ATS? ATC? MINI? MICRO2? I don't want to have to buy the 4 pack ($15.99 vs $5).
- What is the recommended fuse to tap in the fuse box?

If anyone knows of a simple YouTube video to follow, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I found this thread. It looks like it's the low profile mini fuse.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...l#post10893495

Comparing it with the Viofo diagram, it looks like the one called mini, not micro2. There are 2 mini fuse (low-profile mini fuse (4), mini fuse (3)) labeled in the above link.

This YouTube was helpful.
,

Recommended using the 15A P/OUTLET NO.1 port.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...sh-cam-10.html

Check out this thread (you link went to a deadspace) and specifically Post #138 forward between ejisfun and myself. I followed his post pretty much and found the most difficult part was fitting myself under the dash to get the fuse taps installed.
It is all outlined here.
Very happy with this dash cam.

Fix it guess the lexus like to shut everything down for the battery. Do you have to manuel close the trunk and it resets.

OMG now there are fuses under the seat? They seem to be everywhere anymore. Why can't they just put them all in one spot.

Default Access Covered fuses

Hello,
Can someone please advise on how to access the fuses under the long black and red covers on the RX under the hood fuse box?
On the fuse lid it says that fuses like the alternator and the PBD are under there. I just can't seem to figure out how to get to them. The other fuses are easy, I can just use the fuse tool.

Thanks!

Default Where is the Fuse Panel?

I have a 2016 RX450h. The owners manual says there is a fuse panel under the drivers side dash. I have removed the plastic covers under the dash and the side kick panel and there’s no fuse panel. I even tried the passenger side, No fuse panel there either. Does this fuse panel even exist?

I know about the one under the hood. I'm trying to determine why the radio is dead.

It's there, and you don't have to remove the trim covers. Find the OBDII port on the driver's side. Go forward 3" and outboard about 3" and look straight up; the fuse panel faces downward and has a typical fuse box cover on it. Be aware, accessing the fuse panel is tortuous. A skinny contortionist will have the easiest time.

Thank you bamalam. With your help I found it. WTH were they thinking hiding it at an almost unreachable location. It would have been nice if they had listed the fuses in the owners manual like most cars. The low contrast ink on the cover adds another touch of User abuse.
