Best time of the year for a deal
Is it true that March is the end of Toyota’s fiscal year? If so, is March a good time to buy? Is it better than December To Remember? I’m wanting to get a 2018 RX 450h. Still have 1 day of DTR.

It my experience Costco pricing is about the best you can get less any rebates.

JS, the way I built out a 2018 450h comes out to $52xxx. The ones that are lingering on dealer lots are $57xxx and up with many in the $61xxx range. A 2018 with an ok discount will have a lower price for the options I want than a 2017 with a greater discount.

i was getting pricing 6-8200 off plus lexus cash of $2500, thats 10.7k off msrp on a 17rx450h. Deals are out there if you want to find them.
Guess the logic makes sense, to keep it at 52k, but the probability of a 57k 450 down to 52k is very possible. kinda like getting free options.
hope this makes sense, good luck either way.

I am on the same boat, but still undecided between RX450h or RX350 F-Sport. This will be my 1st Lexux, wife drove 2016 Acura MDX.
I love the RX450h but for a long term it might cost me an arm and leg. Any suggestions?
1st time Lexus buyer. lol

JS, I don’t presently see many 450’s in the $57k range in SoCal, most are in the $63k and up range. That’s why a 2018 w MSRP of $52xxx built with what I want could possible be had for $46 or so. Plus it’s a 2018 so a little better for resale. The question will be, what if any offers will be available in the coming months.

Most of the problems are on the 350, including hesitation, and vibration at idle. Some have them, some don't. The best bet is the hybrid. You won't have foreseeable issues, and many people on this forum actually had a 350, but had tons of issues, so they ended trading it up for a 450h. With the smoother experience and the rise of gas prices, the hybrid still seems like the better choice, unless you really hate the feel of eCVT/CVT. It does drone a little bit, but it's a planetary gear, not a belt like most CVTs, so at least it will be reliable.

My 17 RX has been perfect, couldn't ask for a quieter, smooth riding vehicle. My only issue has been the complicated controls I'm trying to learn. As has been mentioned on this forum many times, make sure you thoroughly test drive the actual vehicle you're looking to buy.
