when I connected all the power leads up and checked for the first time I thought I'd done something wrong because the green LED power light was OFF, so I started the car up and it then must of engaged itself because when I powered down the car the green LED stayed ON for ever now.weird I know.

You might have something different than. Power Magic Pro has switch for parking mode on/off. So when car is on, dash cam will be on even when the switch is in the off position.

yes
looks like your power magic box is slightly different to the one I have in the UK from blackvue direct.we have NO on/off switch but looks like you have a POWER LED next to dip switches like ours

Default Dashcam? Where should I tap it in?

Hey guys am about to hardwire my dashcam and just wondering where should I tap it into the fuse box? I dont need it to have power all the time. I just want the dashcam on when the car is started and off when the car is off. Thanks guys
